  1. How do figure Marner doesn’t “bring it” in the playoffs .. check the scoring stats .. better or the same as Nylander .. and Marner actually backchecks 🤷‍♂️

  2. Leafs should include Reilly/Marner/Robertson and Liligren for Saros/Lauzon/McCarron.
Nashville just traded McDonagh to Tampa of course to move money for Marner but they now need a defenseman.

  3. Fully agree with these fellas, I’ve been saying for a while Nashville makes totally sense. Marner not waiving for a team like San Jose lol. Marner for Saros, fabbro or Marner, liljegren for Saros, fabro and 2025 first round pick

  4. Frank Seravalli doesn't know what he's talking about Marner isn't going anywhere unless the leafs get a deal that they can't refuse and if he's such a bad player why would anyone else want him I bet he wants to stay in Toronto

  5. Putting thier money on Nylander is a big F up!! I predict Willie will win as many cups as Sundin, Alfredson and Sedin Twins combined!

  6. Babcock betrayed Marner's trust airing his honesty publicly in the dressing room. Berube has been known to earn player's trust making them go through the wall for him

  7. Marner 25% or 50% retained and nick Abruzzese and Ty Volt and D Mikko Kokkonen and Potus Holmburg to Nashville Predators for F Filip Forsberg at 50% retained and RD Dante Fabbro and LW Cole Smith and RW Michael McCarron and conditional 2nd round pick that if Marner sign with Predators extension now or at end of next season that 2nd turn to a 1st round pick. if true or not we will see? And from rumors that other team maybe involved the rumors is St Louis blues.

  8. Tavares isn't leaving. Aside from having the NMC, he also wont net much through trade, and he's actually had that big moment in the playoffs (2022 Game 6 OT) and in general is good for 60-70 points with almost 30 goals a season. Probably gets an extension on a much lower hit, maybe similar to the deal ROR got last season if not less

  9. It seems Marner is getting all the blame just because his contract went longer compared to nylander and Mathews.
None of these guys have won or shown anything. Yet 34 and 88 are getting paid. They should have made an example with Mathews or traded him.

I’m fine with giving Berube a chance to coach these guys.

I want Mitch back. And if JT wants back after next year. 3 mill a year to stay in your home town sounds good.

Berube needs to turn Mathews into a dominate player and the rest will follow. We’ll see if 34 has it in him.

  10. Marner's a set-up guy. He's not getting any points unless he's playing with a stout finisher. Are there any teams in need of a self-anointed hockey god?

  11. The Leafs lost Game Seven in Overtime with two of their top players ( Matthews & Nylander) playing hurt throughout the series. Sheldon Keefe did a great job juggling the injuries throughout the series. The Leafs must be careful in trying to move two steps ahead and falling ten steps backwards. Marner has been an important cog in Matthews being a 50 plus scorer. Balancing a payroll does not automatically translate into wins on the ice or playoff success. The Boston Series loss should be evaluated on its own merits and not through the prism of the last ten years. Change feeds the media hype and headlines. Success can be dictated by one bounce or one hit to the head.

  12. For the longest time it was Nylander that they all wanted to go but now its Marner time
is it? Next year it will be Matthews might as well go down the whole roster…you guys are typical Leafs fans like all u Toronto so called pundits

  13. Trading Marner would be the most insane move the Leafs could make. Gretzky like skills, great both offensively and defensively, he loves Toronto and the Leaf's. Don't trade Marner.
