a break through we did I mean obviously samsonov was real good and and uh we weren’t we weren’t better in in the in the shot area that’s the difference um like you mentioned we had our we had our chances we generated chances and we didn’t put it in the net power play sense the hesy has crep back in again you know we had uh we had a couple you you see it in the chances we created JJ petka wide open I think uh Quinter and Owen so we had even when we generated those nice chances I thought we were a little tight so yes um you know the the first one yeah I thought thought we were a little tight when we when we did generate the chance and so yes difficult is it to see the power play just go through these struggles all season long and and and turn out like this well it it uh I mean you obviously um you know that is a can impact the game in a positive way when the power play is going and uh you know a night like tonight it was you know it’s uh it it’s frustrating it’s when it’s not uh it’s not going and you have the opportunities you had and you know was no no Power Play Goals in the game and you know we didn’t convert uh and they did at the even strength tonight and even can compound it situation was different but when you see you guys missed the net 15 times what does that tell you about where where your guys were at confidence and how they’re feeling right now with their game yeah I mean it’s I mean you’re going to miss the net here and there I guess but uh absolutely the point blank ones are the ones uh Lance that we missed in that on some point blank ones and and yeah that is uh um again it it’s it’s frustrating aggravating and uh not much more to say I mean it’s it’s the it’s the obvious it’s the obvious obviously you generate some some some looks and some chances uh you know breakaways in the third a couple of Point Blank it looked like we had the goalie down and out and didn’t convert couldn’t convert and so absolutely frustrating how difficult tonight is that coaches players organizationally just to deal with that whole situation deal with Matthews goal I mean you can’t turn that around against the Leafs ever until you become a playoff team and become more relevant that and a broken stick on the play and just the way it happened and uh uh I mean it’s it it’s the just the game you got to be the moment Mike and it’s you know there’s there’s a lot that you you mention um but in the moment it’s frustrating enough and aggravating enough and uh you know that’s where you got to stay focused and and that’s where you’re going to get better is staying in the moment and and progressing and um you have to stay on it happy that could bounce back a little bit tonight thought he looked better absolutely um no question he made some obviously he made a couple spectacular saves uh both gold always did and but yes he looked definitely fresh uh compared to his last couple starts intentions boil over like that late is it disappointing that it got to that point obviously it’s not the end result you wanted or is it just a relief that maybe they’re getting their anger out no we need that energy and that emotion um so yeah that’s a I don’t mind seeing that energy and emotion at all think you’ll learn about these players this team in the final stretch here is you know I’m sure it’d be easy for them to lose focus given the standings and all that what are you hoping to see what do you think you’ll learn even even an increased compete and fight uh you know you know as Rachel just mentioned you know that uh that reaction I mean you know obviously you can be disappointed you can be frustrated but uh how you going to respond and you know um it’s what we’re going to look for yeah

The only coach that maybe, MAYBE could be retained is Bales. The rest, BYE! Having Matt Ellis coordinate the power play is a fireable offense on its own, never mind the plethora of other issues this team has.
