[Gaffar] Brock Boeser will not be available for the Canucks in game seven on Monday. If they advance, his status moving forward is unclear.

Blood clots. Brutal for Brock and the team. Hope he’s okay

So brutal… really feel for brock he doesn’t deserve this. Team won’t give up though.

  3. Thankfully it isn’t life threatening. Guys will be pushing hard for him. Let’s go!

We got nothing to lose now. Fucking come out flying and win this shit for Brock and Demko.

  5. Greenarrowfan

huge lost and someone mention he look different.

    what is blood cloting?

  6. I genuinely don’t think there’s a more unlucky/cursed franchise in sports than this team. Whatever can go wrong will go wrong always.

This really sucks for Brock and let’s hope there is nothing long term of concern. The boys will come out inspired tomorrow for Brock and Demko, even if the odds are stacked against us.

He will be back for Dallas, so will Demko. We destroy the Stars and go on to win the cup. Book it.

  9. YouCanFucough

Fuck that is scary. Hope the boy is okay

Poor dude can never catch a break. Hopefully the team can rally together and pull out a W. I need Rick Tochett to go scorched earth and bring up lekkerimaki.

    Real glad he’s okay.
Fuckin brutal for our chances tomorrow though. Ride or die boys, time to give it your all.

The poor guy literally can’t catch a fucking break.

I hope they can win it for him and that this isn’t something that will affect him going forward in his career.

  13. Sweaty-Salad95

Wow, the universe has it out for this guy. Win one for Brock.

    Hope he’s OK.

  14. The_Oakland_Berator

This is absolutely devastating. Hoping for a quick recovery and that everything is ok with boes. Hoping the team can rally around this, win it for him and Demko guys!

Obviously not a lot to go on from this, but could be something like a superficial clot if it isn’t life threatening but it could also be the opposite, where he may have a bleeding issue. Blood clotting issue is vague and could mean too much clotting or too little and you bleed.

  16. Frumbleabumb

Jeez I hope he’s ok. Also what kind of luck is this

  17. ChrispyCanuck

He should do the siren mid game. That would pop the roof off

  18. Striking_Ad_4562

I hope Brock is OK. Beyond the physical aspect, I imagine the mental weight of knowing you can’t be there for the team at a critical time is very heavy.

Hopefully the team can push through what must feel like deflating news. The playoffs come with a lot of adversity both mental and physical.

Build character and fight through it.

1- Fortunate that it’s apparently not a life threatening issue.

2- Huge loss, playing the best hockey of his career up until game 6 (this would explain that game)

    3- Lekkerimaki as a surprise inclusion?:D

  20. NerdPunch

Missing their Vezina Caliber Goalie, *and* their leading goal scorer who has been incredibly clutch these playoffs.

If you’re outside of Edmonton, how do you *not* cheer for Vancouver tomorrow?

    Big underdog story.

  21. bringbackdavebabych

Most cursed franchise in NHL history. Maybe in all of sports.

Edited: Obviously feeling for Boeser much more than just the Canucks, it’s more brutal for him than for any of us. Nevertheless it’s just fucking brutal what this franchise has had to endure.
