No one actually cares
Flyers will be contenders with him in line up
Flyers paid to Russians, simple.
I said at the draft Michkov's camp is throwing up a smokescreen about his "KHL contract" in hopes of going to a preferred destination and he will be in the NHL sooner than later. It made no sense to me that he was gonna fulfill his KHL contract because we've already seen many players in the past leave their contracts early to go to the NHL. It's not hard to terminate/buy those contracts out in Russia. BTW: I believe Michkov wanted to play in Philly because theres a large Russian community there. There's a "Lil Russia" part of the city where everything is Russian. I would know cuz Im Russian and I love partying there😁
OK I admit I'm really jealous of the Flyers because of Michkov lol
If Michkov plays with the Flyers it's because of $$$. A few millions can go a long way.
Everyone knows money talks, in Russia.
Remember Nail Yakupov? Don't get too excited.
corruption everywhere. even NHL, no cups in Canada, Chicago gets1st pick but not twice gets second pick instead just llike when the mafia ran Chicago, oopsI
If Michkov & the flyers played the NHL draft there should be a heavy penalty to the player and the hockey club.
Just glad he did not end up in Montreal…
Any player pulling this stunt is not worth the hassle. The bar is very high for this player and in the Ducks case I have serious doubts we would have ever drafted him. Just fun side note were passing on Demidov as well for Lindstrom who better fits team chemistry.
Michkov: 19 goals, 41 points. Jordan Weal 30 goals, 77 points. Let's see if Michkov makes the team.
People think he bamboozled the NHL. People don’t look at the facts. He was signed by SKA for 3 years. SKA loaned him out to Sotchi two years in a row and is now allowing him to leave. Do the math, the team doesn’t want the headache. If he was a superstar and a team player, do you really think that SKA would allow him to leave. Why can’t Legorock to the math? This site lacks some credibility, do your research.
Montreal would have grabbed this kid at 5. He probably told Montreal he was still upset about 72'
Stop letting Russians play in the NHL
UNTIL THE HOLE COUNTRY THEY WILL PLAY NICE IN THE WORLD WIDE SAND BOX..
Too hell with Russia.
Michkov and adding another forward in 2024 draft (Eiserman or Connelly)………..or do the Flyers go defenseman?
I do not think Iginla will get past Calgary.
Kinda weird seeing his KHL team dumping him. Not saying he isn't talented…but it seems he comes with some red flags.
SKA St-Petersbourgh just wanted the bribe first then the release to NHL team…
This upcoming draft is the Flyers' last chance to get an elite center and puck distributor for Michkov and he better be defensively responsible!
The kid's record is good but it's not elite level yet. Additionally he's a smaller guy. This whole situation is nothing to get worked up over.
I have no pity for the teams that passed on Michkov because they weren't brave enough to make that pick. I would have drafted him as high as second if given the chance.
Stunning news. Flyers definitely have competitive advantage with Russian players.
Jagr did the same thing to get to Pit and play with Mario.
He would have gone second to the Canucks.
Mitchkov will not be that good.
Will be fun if Philly gets Michkov into the NHL next year and we get to see him play against the Ducks and Gautier.

Just imagine if they still had Cutter. I'm a Ducks fan but I live close to Philly so I also root for them.
It will be nice to see both teams have a pretty nice future. Hope JD can stay healthy in Philly.
His father was murdered trying to negotiate a contract termination. They owe it to him to go let him live his dream
I’m crying orange and black tears of joy
I would think twice about drafting any Russian !
Watch out Metro
