lowquality fans of a high quality Bruins team we click baited the haters this might be the first time on the channel that we went with clickbait I I can no longer say I’m not a click baiter ain’t no tears here get out of here I’ll give you some GG’s I’ll give you some no I’m not going to do that seriously GG’s good luck in the next round rain look like a wagon but so do the Panthers the Panthers look good I I think actually there’s a lot of the Panthers fan base it’s like you know kind of weird that it took six against this Bruins team there are a lot of fans that still picture this Bruins team as like last year’s team or a couple of the versions beforehand but this Bruns team fought hard man there’s a lot to really love about this season it was a fun entertaining season for large stretches it was extremely frustrating for stretches but this I we’re gonna break down all of it we’re gonna do season grades for players for management we’re gonna obviously talk about free agency which is lackluster but the Bruins might be able to find some help which they’re certainly going to need we’re going to talk about players that we’re kind of happy that we’re no long no no longer going to have to watch um and that seems mean but there’s certain guys you just go okay I’m kind of done right I’m kind get off the team but and then there’s players that you’re really excited to see see again does this series look different with ptra in it yeah for about 20 minutes until someone’s elbow goes through his skull do you know how glad I am that ptra wasn’t in the series ptra is small and right now he’s catchable I think he’s going to get more and more uncatchable as he improves and tougher of course it’s more durable he um he would have had a doozy of a series uh but seriously GG’s to Panthers uh to the Panthers and the Panthers fans um crazy series there’s going to be a lot of talk about you know controversy and and the the go tending interference in game four and the Bennett punch and all this stuff but I’m going to take a a page out of Brad Marian’s book he came back and basically said ah it is what it is um I I’m not holding any ill will in the line they stopped Bennett and marshan and they talked tapped each other on the shoulder kept moving and uh honestly from one rat to another sure yeah that makes a lot of to me doesn’t mean I’m going to change my opinion about how that all went down why would it but I mean if he’s going to shrug it off and keep moving what I’m going to I’m going to continue to to whine about it not going to happen there’s all sorts of reasons to remember this series and feel like the the Bruins didn’t get the fairest shake at it every single year there are teams that feel that way and you know what sometimes it’s true and right now unfortunately doesn’t matter if it’s true or not it just doesn’t not going to change the result of the series this is entertainment right unless you’re gambling on this stuff it doesn’t have a real effect on your life obviously emotionally it does obviously but you get what I’m saying at the end of the day I’m really proud of the Boston Bruins I really am I thought they fought and clawed and they just didn’t have enough and that’s the god honest truth um we’re going to talk about a few themes uh through the series and the games and we’re going to touch on this game a little bit just like last year I don’t I don’t think I want to overdo that really what I’d love is oh maybe we find time for that tomorrow I don’t know we’ll figure it out but in the comments just say what you want to say I’m going to try to reply to every serious comment I can uh I know I’ve been this whole run I’ve been good about it at times and bad about it others some games I’ve barely answered anything and some games I tried to answer everything it’s weird scheduling put down below just what do want to say whatever it is whether it’s your favorite player through the season uh the MVP of the Season other than Swan just or somebody that you’re just like I’m just glad that I don’t have to watch him anymore right like that’s fine be a little negative get it out just get it out that’s what this is also last year we had alcohol so this year let’s you know have a little alcohol right have a drink with me damn it geez it’s only 10 o’ here if you’re watching this at 6 a.m. I kind of still expect you to have a drink with me tomorrow’s Saturday I don’t know what your excuse is the older I get the more liquor like punches me in the face you know I used to be that annoying guy in college little little low qual lore that annoying guy in college that anytime you saw someone have a chaser after taking a shot i’ be like Loser yeah that was me I’m sorry I apologize for it now I’ve grown up but um now I’ve learned my lesson about that H I’m so I I really I I can’t believe this is the best I’ve felt at the end of a bruin season in a long time expectations were heavier uh over the past decade much heavier and the I I I think the better roster won this series genuinely I do and I know a lot of you guys disagree and that’s totally fine that’s part of the fun but I think top to bottom uh outside of go tending and Bob made some huge saves in this one Panthers are a hell of a team I don’t know if they have what it takes I really don’t but man that that Eastern Conference Final you probably couldn’t have asked for more entertaining one this one’s going to get nuts absolutely nuts and in the west we’ve got got some good ones going too also worth saying like comment subscribe nailed it thank you so much to the high quality inspectors you guys are awesome the membership the YouTube membership program you guys are nuts and just been so so great and I I cannot express enough my gratitude I really cannot express it enough and the videos aren’t going to stop sure there’s not going to be three or four videos a week that is unsustainable through the whole year unless this is my full-time job honestly the seven months a year that I do that are very straining on every relationship I have but uh we’re still doing pretty much weekly vids we’re going to have all sorts of stuff to talk about I need to find a way next year to be able to not just do the games I really love the idea of a weekly show Sean and Doug excellent dudes super fun to work with I want that to be a weekly thing I just time we just got to find the time I’m going to make it work we’re going to do it but there’s going to be more videos to the off season I promise you that trying to figure out how I really want to talk about this uh let’s talk about who was in the game tonight so we’ve got Marian Coy Frederick Martian returns awesome to see De brus geeki poock hinen zaka brazo jvr Beer maroon laori Mack Lindon Carlo wspoon geeky swayan jvr gets dropped to the fourth Lao gets dropped out I would have reversed those honestly but is what it is Timmy Thomas the Tank he’s the banner captain and you know what it went about as well as you’d expect with him in the building it did because go tending was excellent and he went to the Panthers at one point so it just kind of felt you know that feels right right that’s fine and honestly with the way this game with the way this game ended I was actually waiting for Swan to make the mistake for San to end the season because he’d been so unbelievable up to this point that I was like you know what poetically kind of funny right like this guy is the only reason we’re even still in the playoffs right now but also he just ended your season on some stupid play and that didn’t happen but uh the go heading really was just tremendous uh well let’s let’s talk about the game a little bit we’ll talk about the game a little we’re going to hit some spots I’m not going to do the whole thing but I will do the puck drops puck drops you got to love the start the Bruins had with 338 in this four shots on net already excellent possession excellent Zone time strong four check and it ends with an ebl hooking eblad eblad eblad was horrible in this series by the way he was horrendous every time the Bruins did something successful e blad’s name came up I know Panthers fans got to be ripping their hair out at that guy right now and look this isn’t to insult the guy’s whole career this is a bad series for eblad I don’t know what he looked like in the first series I assume better anyway so it’s going to end with an eblad hooking call we’re going to the power play we’re not even four minutes in the team is buzzing they understand what’s at stake here the power play is terrible the best chance on the power play is a Panthers 2on one where San makes the save and the Panthers will have another chance that zaka blocks and ends up going down the tunnel and has to come back up for he would play the rest of the game so all the momentum all of it and it’s only 4 minutes into the game but still just gone out the the Panthers dominated the rest of the period outside of the final minute just crushed just after that point oh damn maybe I am going to talk about this whole game because there’s a lot of notes I do want to hit on 605 left the Bruins haven’t had a shot in on net in over 10 minutes I told you after that after that power play where we got zero shots on net we didn’t touch the offens of Zone but we end up with a three on Two And the P the puck gets to lindol alone in the slot clear view to the net clear view to the net and he opts to send a hard pass to Frederick on his left it bobbles over Frederick’s stick and flitters Away 10 minutes without a shot on net the passing and the exits have been atrocious and you have a chance from the slot alone is everyone scared I can’t think of a single coach on this planet who says look for the past in that scenario I just can’t and I know Monty’s not doing it if you are in the slot with time and space and you have a chance to shoot at the net do it like every time do it I understand this times right like back door tapping easy peasy get the sure thing you haven’t had a shot in 10 minutes get it on Bob and get it high for Christ’s sake do it I can’t I the shoot the puck chance should have started back up the Bruins I want to be very clear they lost this game they lost this game they had every opportunity to score over and over and over again the high danger chances were there the Bruins could have scored four to six goals this game and no one would have been like wow they like yeah they had multiple breakaways multiple two-on ones multiple odd man rushes most of them didn’t even end in shots much like this one the Bruins did it to themselves that’s all I’m saying they do it to themselves either way we’re going to move on with 52.8 seconds left Carlo dumps Veri on the wall allowing a water spoon clear to get out to debrus in the neutral zone I understand some people are upset there was no interference call here I don’t think they’re upset anymore the game happened it ended and they won they’re fine uh de Brusque on the right wall will fling this I thought it was blindly they’re saying it was on purpose I don’t know it’s up to the middle of the neutral zone barov is this close to getting it but he doesn’t allowing zaka to skate into it zaka who I dumped all over on on the last show on the last short shift podcast he nice move waits for the Bob poke goes around it flicks it over his shoulder and it is one Zer with less than a minute left in the first period first period has been the only period really that we’re scoring in in these last five games it’s it’s it’s been tough it’s been tough we’re going to go into the second up a goal POS gets a breakway to start the second period and Bob Saves at five hole and then a minute and 17 seconds into the second period too many men on the Bruins a record by the way I don’t know what the record is everyone just kept saying that’s a record like okay for the whole playoff run most too many men in 13 games like what what’s the record I don’t know if that’s the most in a playoff run and the Bruins did it without even getting a game seven in the second round um fire someone I’m sorry you could be the water boy you’ve got to get fired I’m sorry man you are a scapegoat and we’re going to take that because what the [ __ ] that’s so bad like what are you even supposed to say about seven Too Many Men didn’t Don Cherry get fired fired for a Too Many Men call one of them I’m not saying fire Monty I’m just saying a someone’s someone’s got to get fired ah delicious oh we killed a penalty I’m not really worried about that 11:30 left a broken two onone turns dangerous as poso chases down a tough pass from geeki and whips it into the slot for makoy picture yeah if that pass was a little better and I’m not blaming poock he did this with a lot of speed blind passes were kind of his thing tonight honestly not in a good way that was an easy goal but unfortunately it’s way too far forward and makoy has to basically dive and jab at it and it goes wide another opportunity where it just doesn’t you know Bruins had the chance 716 left Panthers back into the Zone they’ve been doing a lot of that de bruss blocks a shot in the slot Frederick over skates it as he’s chasing a panther player so at least he’s physically like defending I’m going to forgive Frederick here some people won’t that’s fine Puck sitting there geeky and wspoon are looking at it wspoon goes I got it steps in for hagy Jabs at it disrupts the clear enough so it just kind of its way up higher in the slot geeki is still standing still and just watching Morgan geeki does have another year on his contract and I think is going to be an excellent third liner if he is consistently in our top six next year I will become the most annoying person you know you’re going to unsubscribe to the channel you’re going to hate me because I am so unbelievably tired of the amount of ice time this man gets he’s great in moment moments but only in moments my God so he stands and watches as londell collects and buries this on San who’s had to track this whole play by the way so that’s going to be 1-1 tie game it’s a great shot from londell the diver he Dives I’m I’m hammering that point too hard but he is a diver 6:30 left pasta and Martian two on two pasta’s passes blocked but he retrieves and goes around eblad who blocked it and now he’s skating in and he’s got another Defender who’s more in front of uh marshand and I’m going shoot the [ __ ] Puck I know it’s a sharper angle but you’re David poock you scored 61 goals not this year year before still counts shoot he tries to pass the defender kicks it away I don’t like I don’t like how little we shoot I don’t like how little The Talented guys shoot like you’re the good one not to say that the other ones are the bad ones but you’re the good one like shoot I don’t think it’s that complicated anyway we’re g to move on we’re gon to go uh oh Coral’s going to take a penalty later it’s fine we kill it we’re going to go to third period it’s 1-1 you win the period you get to move on to the next game right season extends it’s huge and yeah panthers look better in the third period than we did because that’s the mark of a team that’s just simply better it’s a better roster right now is it a better franchise absolutely not What whose channel do you think you’re on I’m allowed to I’ve watched these teams all year I’m allowed to say hey that roster is probably better than ours I’m allowed to say it people like call me a fake fan sometimes because I’m like hey I don’t know I think that team’s better than ours right now I don’t know I just watch a lot of hockey really like hockey 517 in Brazil goes down hard in the neutral zone the rest got this so right I hate to give credit they call a major so that they can review it because Brazil went down hard and stayed down and they didn’t see anything so they were like no if we do this we get to watch the replay and then we can just if it’s not a call it’s not a call they nailed this because they wanted to make sure five minutes into the third period in a tie game in game six with a team’s future on the line in a series where they have been unbelievably bad they’re just trying to stop the bleeding at this point they call the major takes 20 seconds because what happened is Veri skates purposefully in the pass of brazo and brazo skates directly into him with his head to his shoulder there’s no call there that’s not a call some people would argue interference I wouldn’t even argue that you have to be able to work around the moving pillars in the neutral zone I think this is a great job by them call the major look at it when no no call in the play and we keep playing good work by the refs only time this series I can say that but good job 604 left mat goes for roughing to the Penalty kill that is such a tough call in that instance it’s weak it’s a very soft call Ma does get him a little high but this is a hit we’ve seen a lot in this series we’re going to go on the penalty kill with 23 seconds left of the penalty kill wspoon blocks a shot while San is down huge wspoon keep him on the third pair forever really liking the guy and then beer gets tripped he steps on someone’s stick it’s a bad call see the last 10 minutes evened out is all I’m saying 4v4 for 23 seconds then a power play our power play is not good I mean if you want to blame anything for I mean we didn’t score it up but our power play through this series just awful just awful I mean how many Power Play Goals do we actually score one was it even one it was probably one just bad just bad either way 133 left Gustav forsley ends the Bruin season he uh there’s a high shot off of Swingman shoulder as they’re entering in transition rebound gets past W spoon gets to foren and he just hammers this on net somehow squeaks through W spoon somehow squeaks through San no one’s to blame on this play and honestly they’re lucky it went in that that puck had eyes went right under the blocker short side that’s the season 2-1 and at the end of the day these are how many goals the Bruin scored over the last couple games so tonight they scored one uh the game five two game four two game three two and game two1 so the only game they scored more than two goals in this series was game one where they scored scored five the Bruins didn’t have enough they built from the net out which is excellent and honestly if you had showed me these the if you had told me okay panther is going to score one goal in the game one we win that six in the second one we lose that six in the third one o we lost that one Panthers score three in game four I don’t know I don’t know who wins that Panthers score one all right we won that Panthers score two we we probably won that right no right I mean the Panthers didn’t blow us out they had the two games so game two and game three they crushed us and those games were really close till they weren’t and obviously there was some stuff there but the team held the Panthers in check they didn’t they they didn’t have enough on the other end honestly we can talk about our first series no is they just didn’t have enough offense I don’t think missing Marian for two games was the deciding factor in that either this team doesn’t have enough forward Talent real scoring talent and poso feels like he has to spread that Puck around too much honestly I to be fair POS is getting so much attention from the defense he probably cannot handle being three-on-one every time there’s not enough threats on the ice debrusk is a really good supplementary Winger he deserves to be extended he deserves to be on this team like I really want to reassign him but he’s not going to be a guy who’s going to pot six goals or seven goals through a series I mean actually he had five in this one or five in these playoffs so still did a good job but if you want a guy who’s really going to have like go off in a series he’s not going to be that guy pck and Marian are very good Marian’s on the tail end of his career we get that we need another guy and whether that’s a center that sets poster up really well and has enough scoring threat that teams have to take him seriously or if it’s another Winger it doesn’t really matter to me obviously have preferences but offensively we just didn’t have enough this team could not get over the two- goal hump do you know the team that just had the same issue the Toronto Maple Leaves who um well they they spend a lot more money on their Fords than we do so it’s a different conversation over there a more hilarious one I would say but the Bruins just don’t have the scoring that’s okay because free agency is coming up and there might be some help coming internally that we’re going to talk about and not to say that defenseman need to be part of this solution but lorai getting more more comfortable might help offensively God he had some moments he he looks good um let’s talk about the home ICE disadvantage here the Bruins didn’t win a game on home ice in this series they only won one against Toronto yeah or two against Toronto sorry they won two against Toronto because game seven and then last year they won one there are three wins eight losses on home ice over the past 2 years that is really bad and it’s shared with the Celtics by the way who are basically 500 on home I so home I home court yeah so I don’t know what’s going on there but um fix it is my statement yeah that feels like a fair statement [ __ ] fix that [ __ ] what are we doing I have no clue why H mice is such a problem for this team I would love for it not to be though game seven against Toronto though awesome I realize I’m just kind of rambling a lot of this but you know what I’m really pumped for next year obviously we’re going to have extended conversations about this through the offseason but so lorai full season to him that’s a lock right that’s a lock right now Patra if he’s healthy full season a him can he Force his way into the top six right I I hate that he wasted so much time away from the iceis year with that shoulder surgery but there’s a lot of excitement there and the next year Swan’s vzna run is going to be awesome it’s going to be so cool there’s uh a reason to watch the draft by the way because Omar might be traded draft day it’s a real possibility I I am going to miss omark after this playoff run I think I mean you had a great performance in Swan and if San got hurt you are very confident in his replacement which is a luxury it is a luxury Omar sat on the bench while this team couldn’t score for five games in a row it’s going to be hard to sell that to a room full of hockey players right not even hockey players hockey professionals when Sweeney sits down with his coaching staff and his assistants and just the guys and they talk about building this team someone’s going to raise their hand and go hey we got $5 million on the bench for about four weeks straight there and we couldn’t score I mean there’s a real conversation to be had about it I think San signed signed omark’s trade right I think he put his stamp of approval on it it sucks it really does cuz I’m going to miss all Mark but I I think that’s the direction they’re going to go it’s actually a great problem to have but it’s it’s such a compliment to Swan what a playoffs this guy had he was awesome fantastic if you think any part of the Bruins no longer being no longer playing hockey right now is on Jeremy Swan I can’t help you man I can’t help you I just he’s been too too good and unfortunately I see him very much getting the tarasque treatment from a group of this fan base a few years down the road because Swan is not a holy [ __ ] highlight reel kind of guy he’s a very exis and O’s type of dude just like Ras was where he makes that save and you go yeah nice save when really most goalies would have been sprawling out and it would have been acrobatic and blah blah blah blah blah he’s just going to be cons consistently great in my opinion that doesn’t Garner a lot of love in this fan base for some reason I don’t know Tuka obviously never want a cup either as a starter it’s a whole different conversation anyway guys I’ve wasted enough of your time thank you again for watching and commenting liking commenting subscribing
