LOL….As compared to all the hosts screaming RANGERS IN 4 after game 3 and then RANGERS IN 5 after game 4. The WFAN hosts don't have a clue about the other teams strengths or how series work when some teams' back is against the wall facing elimination. Especially if the team facing elimination WAS FAVORED TO WIN THE STANLEY CUP

They don't want it enough! Of all the original six teams, give Boston credit for going all out, and not laying down. This team tests the garden's faith every year! So far, our faith in them has not been answered in 30 years.
Rangers need to close this out in Carolina and not make it a game 7. In a game 7, the NY pressure will be is IMMENSE from both the media and fans, which can really adversely impact you mentally as a player. It can cause players to detract from their game plan and try to do everything solo, and not play as a team. Erratic passing, bad shots on goal, maybe even a bad penalty. Rangers blew a 2-0 lead last year to the Devils on this snowball effect of pressure, so if they blow a 3-0 lead this year it's going to be a very lonnnnnng summer for them.

Hate to say it because I love these guys. But Kreider and Mika have a history of being transparent during the big moments. I had hoped that they got it out of their system and they certainly seemed like it this season with all the come from behind wins. But where were they? Krieds seems like he might have found his niche but Mika, he wiffed the puck several times on plays where he wasn't pressured and it led to an immediate turn over. During the regular season the kids would step up but its the playoffs, big guys gotta be the big guys. Plain and simple.
Clickbait title. “Rangers on brink of collapse”? Really? We’ve only lost two games in the whole playoffs. Carolina still needs to win the next two games- the Rags only need to pinch one of them.

They’re playing the Rangers, who are the biggest comeback team in the league. This series was over for the Canes after Game 3.
How many series in history went from 3-0 to 3-2???? In all sports. ALOT the 3-0 team wins 99% of the time

They're not yet "on the brink" – If they're losing in the 3rd period of game 7 then they'll be on the brink of an epic collapse.
If they'd lost a very close, hard-fought game 5, I'd be much less concerned. The disappearance of our top players and the total absence of heart and effort last night – exactly like '22 and '23 – has me very, very concerned.
There's nothing wrong with Kreider's quote last night. Fans are pissed because the Rangers sh*t the bed, and they want the core guys to bitch and moan, to voice the fans' frustrations. They want to hear Kreider say "That performance sucked and everyone in this room should be embarrassed about it. We just blew 2 chances to put this team away. It's unacceptable." And that would be fine too, I guess. But Kreider is just saying they need to approach game 6 as if it's a normal game 6 and not dwell on the 2 blown chances. They can't let the pressure get to them – Kreider's thought process is a sensible approach to doing that. He's just making sense.

Carolina outshooting the Rangers might be Shesterkin standing on his head..or maybe not. Maybe it's philosophy. Some head coaches want players taking every shot, others like to hold it for the best possible chance. Without addressing that point, that statistic means nothing.
Best analysis of that shit show of a game 5 out there guys. You won't read that in the papers from the garbage ny beat writers here.
