  1. Gotta get the captain back or name a new one. We need on ice leadership. Dallas is the western version of the NYR theyre rolling 4 lines and they play desperate jailyard hockey. I feel like because theyre in such a long drought their fans are distasteful due to excitement they were still classier than the entire city of winnepeg. Congratulations dallas, now can Luka close out OKC?

  2. I remember Avs fan talking a bunch of stuff when yall had those big comeback wins in the Regular season and I said that won’t happen when we meet in a 7 game series because i knew we’d meet again down the road and they laughed at me and talked a lot of ish and I said bet I’ll keep receipts mark my words we beat yall in 6 worse case scenario and I was spot on! Helluva series tho nothing but respect to that team yall are dangerous and good luck next year yall will be back.

  3. WE ALL HAVE ALL KINDS OF STUFF TO SAY AFTER THE FACT, WE JUST HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT THE AVS LOST AND COME BACK BETTER NEXT SEASON, AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU STILL HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME ON THE ICE 🧊 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

  4. Vals situation AGAIN HORRIBLE TIMING, JUST LIKE LAST YEAR RIGHT IN THE MIDDEL OF A PLAYOFF RUN!! I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE THINKS THAT DID AFFECT THE TEAM IN A NEGATIVE WAY!

  5. I am a Colorado fan from when they were Quebec. So there have been low points. First they have to dump Neschuskin. He is a cancer. He did the same thing last year. Sorry whatever your problems are once ok but you screwed your team. Now again doing the same thing and screwing your team again. He just needs to go. Another problem is they didn’t have depth in the bottom six. It’s sad but hopefully they can make some changes for next year. Joe Sakic you have to look for a goal tender and a back up.

  6. Sucks losing to the Dallas Stars as they're not even that good of a team………The AVS are the better team, but sometimes the best team doesn't win…………..Stars will lose in the Conference finals in there quest to win their first CUP………..

  7. The Avs are an awesome team with a lot of great pieces. Even more important than skill/ strength training in the off season is REST. I hope that the organization really understands this and pushes players in that direction and helps them in whatever way they can.

This is the NHL. Every single team is stacked with the highest caliber players in the world. Elite skill is essential to winning, but will only bring a team so far. MENTAL HEALTH and wellness is what can bring a person, and when that can happen for multiple persons, a team to the next level of greatness. Look at Girard performance after he was able to focus on himself and come back as a healthier person. It made him a better hockey player.
Obviously the flip side of this is Nichuskin. He hasn’t been able to overcome his off-ice struggles, and the team suffered for it greatly. Not just in missing out on his point production, but it took a mental toll, and shook their confidence to lose him like this again. Winning is great, but constantly living in a toxic “warrior” mentality will lead to burn out and at that point something’s gonna give. On the ice, or in Val’s case in their personal life. Working “harder” is rarely the answer in these cases. These guys work hard on and off the ice.

I think we’ve all been at places in our lives where we feel or are being told that we need to just work harder, when we’ve been working too hard for too long and have nothing left to give. When we try to “push through” rather than get the rest and and self care that will ultimately help us perform better in the long run.

Realistically I think this team needs to learn to have fun as strange as that may sound. I think Landy brought a certain jovial, light heartedness to the group that is missing. Of course the NHL and especially the playoffs are extremely intense. But being too intense for too long, and allowing all that pressure to to build with and seeing “winning” as the only release, ironically isn’t a winning formula. I think you could see what I meant from the whole energy and feel of this team toward the end. Very tight, very irritable, visibly frustrated often times. I hope they can figure some things out and come back stronger and better next year.

Even with the almost-goal from Parise in OT. Can’t help but wonder if “this is my last chance” is nagging in the back of his mind, and he winds up playing more anxiously and reactionary rather than loosening up a bit, maybe he could have found the back of the net. Of course overcoming and stepping back from something like that mentally is easier said than done, and even easier for me to say as a spectator, but it’s just a thought. Hope the guys aren’t too hard on themselves, very proud of this team. They fought hard till the end

  8. Let's all be honest we all knew that we were going to run out of gas eventually because we don't have 92 we just lost a veil and now we got to go into next season and we're going to have to start all over again and hopefully next season we recapture the Central Division and we get the number one seed back

  9. He played poorly in this series unfortunately. A few games in this series, felt like he didnt even try or give his all. Dallas players wanted it more this series.
