Another great article by Scott Powers.

    – Scout says Demidov has continued to grow and seems to be a hair over 6’
    – Insane work ethic and commitment to training
    – Touts his creativity, skating, and hockey IQ. Says he outshines Celebrini in these areas.
    – Convinced he won’t sign an extension and will head to USA next year
    – Thinks Demidov is better than Luvshunov
    – Needs to continue working on his shot and he’ll be a 50 goal scoring forward if so

  2. Even though Levshunov is probably going to become a great player, I know I will be disappointed if the Hawks doesn’t draft Demidov.

Demidov keeps on sounding more and more like the pick to make, the “Russian factor” seems like a non-factor in this case and if KD is drafting BPA this seems to be our guy.

Its really a hard decision. Because wingers like this don’t grow on trees. Not to mention we don’t know if Chicago will pick this high again next seating barring any significant injuries. Demidov really seems like he could be a 40-50 goal scorer in the league. If he can drive his own line that would be swell. I’m fine with either player but would prefer the offensive guy to help Bedard

I should really stop reading draft takes, i feel like i’m just setting myself up for disappointment lol

If he has a higher ceiling than Celebrini, any chance that the Sharks take him First?

I won’t be disappointed either way but I think Demidov has a much better ceiling.

I’m on the Demidov train, but it seems they’ll end up with an impact player regardless.
