Canes can’t hold 3-1, 3rd period lead and the run ends with a 5-3 loss in Game 6. Martin Necas, Seth Jarvis and Sebastian Aho each scored as the Hurricanes built a 3-1 lead through 2 periods. But, Frederik Andersen allowed a terrible goal to Chris Kreider early in the 3rd period and the floodgates opened. Kreider netted two more, completing the natural hat trick in a span of 8:58 of the third. Vincent Trochek and Barclay Goodrow also scored for New York who ended the series with Carolina at PNC Arena for the second time in 3 years.

I'm a rangers fan and I predicted this series would go 6 games rangers before it began. However, these canes are scary asf..these guys just put up so much pressure on the offensive front it is nerve wrecking and overwhelming..everytime those guys were shooting on igor i was scared to death..not gonna lie. Very scary team to play against. I don't think any if these remaining teams play as hard as the canes do..besides the panthers defensively. But if we can survive the hurricane we can survive the storm coming. Onto the next battle. Let's go Rangers!

The Panarin goal in game 1, I know that may seem like a bad goal, but Panarin has a crazy shot, and I believe picked that spot on Anderson purposely, think it was just a very very skilled shot
First time listener and I really liked a lot of what you said, I think these teams were very evenly matched aside from goaltenders of course, but I have to say I didn’t like the pouting about selling penalties, God knows there’s 100’s of missed calls, but to say the Mica penalty was bad…. Eh… we don’t know how hard he was cross checked but it was virtually the definition of boarding any way ya see it, hey again loved the show

stop whining about the refs, and the rangers "selling it." By definition, the better team always wins. the team that can figure out how to put more pucks in the net is the better team. What does it matter how many minutes you control the puck or how many shots on goal you have if you're not putting more puck in the net. re: getting a goalie: number one goalies are never available.

I thought the Canes play was fine but the rags really showed up in the third and took charge
In the 5 games Andersen played:
– Car had 177 SOG
– NY had 132 SOG
– each team scored 17 goals
It was a good series and most of your commentary was spot on, however the diving comment is way off. The Canes aren't quite the Bruins dirty in using sticks like weapons but not too far behind either. The first three games the Canes seemed to be more interested in fighting and over aggressive BS than they did in playing hockey. Here's a hint, if you're going against a team who is a dominate in the PP …. don't give them the PP doing stupid stuff….. duh! I would say, in particular when you don't have a good answer to that pp. Nope you just kept doubling down on it hoping for what? Then complain about the calls afterward being soft. So in my opinion this is the difference between these two teams. One team can play a physical aggressive game only, apparently, and the other team can do more. You just continued to put unnecessary pressure on a decent goalie, against a well established good pp team that will find the cracks through pressure. Albeit, you want to point out every goalie flaw, but not the flaws of the PP defense, the person who caused the PP and the coaching staff that can't fix the PP (Both offensively and defensively). All I have to say is …… interesting coach well suited for YouTube.
We need to sign Jarvis, Guentzel, Marty Party and Necas and Chatty. Let Brett, Brady, Noeson, Tony D and Turbo go. Draft the best goalie in round 1.

Outside of the first 10 mins and the last 10 mins hurricanes were the better team we completely had that game won and gave it away. Freddie is 110% the reason we lost this series. Goalie play has been our downfall for pretty much the last 6 years in the playoffs and still hasn’t changed. Get Anderson out of the building let pytor completely run the show he had 94% save percentage in the month of February and never gave up more than 2 goals. Not to mention he only gave up 2 goals in regulation to the rangers in this series, Freddie only did that once in game 5 and we won the game.
Rangers got a lot of luck on their side, I really those two cross checking calls in game 1 and game 6… Kidding me…face it. The NHL was wanting the Rangers to win. I can't i'm going to say this, I hope the Panthers beat their ass…
The loss was on the team. Missed some great chances. Let NYR take the game to them for most of P3. But to say Freddie didn't play a major part in it is just as soft as 2 of those goals he let in.
