Big Head Hockey (@BigHeadHcky) on X: Elias Lindholm this postseason: — 5g | 2a | 7pts in 9 games — 0 giveaways | 3 takeaways — 7th in NHL in goals — 26 hits | 12 blocks — Staal, Coyle, and Reinhart are only forwards with more hits and blocks. Two-way demon.

With Pettersson disappearing he’s stepped up and been a game changer physically, defensively on the PK and 5on5, and has scored massive goals.

We have 2 1C calibre performing players with him
    and miller

I get that it’s probably not a good idea to commit 7M+ to a 3C, but the idea of having Miller – Petey – Lindholm as our centre trio for the next 6-8 years makes me salivate. No team in the league can match that depth

Some team will offer 9+mil for 7-8 seasons easily.

I’m probably in the minority but if I had to pick one to re-sign I’d pick Lindholm over Joshua. Lindy’s more versatile at being able to play center/wing, he can play up and down the lineup and he’s had a history of performing at this level.

Joshua’s had a most incredible season and his chemistry with Garland is undeniable, but it’s really hard to tell if he can remain at this level or if he’ll turn out to be a one-hit wonder after getting the bag.

His positioning is elite. He may be the most in-position player in the NHL.
