Dirtiest team in the league crying about a few controversial calls. Oh the irony.
He is 100% correct. He also realizes that one play didn’t represent the game either. Boston was getting beat almost all game. Outshot 3-1 and folded after the first goal. Officials are on the field as well. There needs to be someone from the league to answers questions. I believe there would also be less hate for the refs as we can get a clear understanding.

Felger and Mazz were all butt hurt over this but I don't have any problem with what Sweeney said. His agenda was clearly to point out the officials need to be in the public spotlight more and I would hope he pushes for that in the GM meetings and/or committees on NHL communication. I find it hard to believe that anyone would disagree with his position. Yeah, yeah, I get it, fans want the fiery vitriol against the refs. I'm not convinced that actually works in your advantage as often as people think it does. The problem with the Bruins is that they are going up against a team that is just far more savvy about their physical presence. The Bruins look crude in comparison.

Florida deliberately tried to take Marchand out of the series because they know he's the Bruins most important player in the playoffs. Time for Boston to level the playing field.

Why would he bother speaking to the media mid-series, which is not typical, just to say nothing? He called out nothing. Pay the fucking fine. Christ. Even just in talking this team has no damn balls.

How many times has Marchand injured other players around the league and got away with his dirty antics? What comes around goes around. If Marchand had the same chance to punch Bennet in the head and get away with it, %1000 he would do it.

I know the officiating has been questionable these past 2 games specially. But are the BOS Bruins going to be reduced to this? Blaming the refs for being down 3-1 in the series? I could be wrong, but last time I checked FL has twice as many shot on goal in this series than BOS like 140+ to 70+. ridiculous. Stop trying to fight people and try to have some flow on offense.

How bout asking Don, why he pulled former Walmart employees from the unemployment line! And stuck Montgomery with them! Because this team is playing like they don’t know a damn thing about playing hockey!
And make sure the officials know the rules and apply them.
