  1. You're right Marc, watching him play, Lindstrom is a raw talent. He will require some polishing from Marty. And yes, you can't teach size! 😉

  2. The good thing that might benefit the habs is all teams from 2 to 4 need defense desperately and a centerman but demidov might be to good to pass up for these teams though michkov fell to 7 and he could be a star but all consensus is that demidov is better so fingers crossed for demidov at 5 though on the chance he is still available at 4 I could see the habs trade up to get him. Personally Id be happy with demidov or lindstrom, lindstrom would be a good back up plan if dach keeps getting injured. Who knows they could pick one of the great d-men available and make a big trade for a forward giving away one of their defense knowing he'll be replaced. Pretty exciting draft coming up no matter what the outcome im looking forward to it.

  3. My fear with Russian prospects is that if the situation over there just gets worse, I would not put it past Putin to stop any young players from coming over indefinitely, or frankly any player no matter the age.

Also, the flat cap is now a thing of the past and I think it's disingenuous to compare the teams that won doing a full rebuild vs the teams that still lose doing a full rebuild, when the examples you gave before where Chicago, Pittsburgh, Tampa… They didn't just win, they won multiple times and are the closest teams to dynasties in decades. The cream of the crop have all done full tear it down rebuilds and all had amazing 1-2 punch obtained at the draft. It's not cherry picking to look up to the ones that did it best multiple times. I dont' know man, feels like more than a flash in the pan. If we see the Sharks slingshot past the Habs in the next few years… well, I hope the next administration gets the message that time.

  4. Me learning there is an hour wait that I wasn't expexting at a store… oh no what am I going to…Basu and Godiiiiiiiiiiin notebook, Basu and Godiiiiiiiiin notebook…

  5. Merci a vous 2 j ai aimé du début a la fin…je pense que l on va avoir un bon jeune joueur au draft meme si ca va pas comme on veut. J ai l impression que notre 1 er choix de Calgary va finir par etre le choix des panthers donc tres tardif

  6. The only way for Montreal to draft Silayev at 5th without having a riot in Montreal, they would need to also get a Ignila or Sennecke at the same draft. If they only get Silayev at 5th, the réaction could be worse than after drafting Reinbacher !!!

  7. Question. With the amount of defensive prospects that the Habs have and that are coming in that have the offensive ability, do you see the Habs converting to a 7 man defensive team perhaps with Hutson playing on a line with 2 other d men?
