Love the psychological warfare being waged on these frauds. Boston is supposed to be a tough team and a cup contenders. Here they are getting beat by a team of players who were pegged to be the top contenders (not for the cup) to fail. Maroon is in shambles because Bennett isn’t taking the bait. They have gotten to where the players, coaches and fans are advocating for violence but it hasn’t even remotely elicited a flinch from the cats. That’s the biggest FUCK YOU and it’s 100% eating them alive. They know they’re not able to stop the impending L. They can’t get shots on net. They aren’t drawing the calls. They’re being forechecked into submission. Their “young guys” can’t handle the pressure. Their fans are imploding. The entire hockey world is getting butt hurt and all we are doing is playing our game and winning puck battle after puck battle. Maroon can think he will do something but all he’s going to do is nothing. I’ll enjoy watching teams in the Atlantic try to ramp up their physical presence in the coming years to try and compete with us, all it will do is make them worse in the long run.

Maybe they should focus less on trying to fight and more on actually playing hockey. They keep throwing their bodies at the guys and whiffing, they give up way too many takeaways especially at their own blue line, they crowd Swayman and bend to offensive pressure, they take dumb interference and roughing penalties, their star players aren’t showing up and they are being massively out shot every game.
Surprise, the team that barely squeaked by the Leafs is struggling against a team that dominated the Lightning. Go figure 🤷♂️
