Firstly, Bruins been diving all playoffs and they played themselves because this is now a boy who cried wolf situation. Secondly, Swayman was in full splits fully extended he wasn’t going to stop that puck even if the defender wasnt there. Why is everyone so blind and dumb?

My interpretation at the end of that is that the “and” before the disallowance part makes it seem like there had to be a penalty already called in order for the goal to be called back. Just like any other time you have a penalty being called, you can’t score.
And since you can’t review a play to call a penalty that was missed, the goal stands. It’s a bit of a gray area imo.
I definitely agree coyle was pushed and there probably should have been a cross checking penalty. Kinda a weak push imo. But coyle has the chance to clear the puck. No shot Swayman gets the puck. Man was down in full splits on opposite side and not in a position to power slide over. I’d also be fuming if it was my own team so I understand all the frustration from this for sure

Tired of these posts tbh. Plenty of no calls during the playoffs but we move on. I say this as a Rangers fan who refs become blind towards to when the opposing team commits a penalty.

If an attacking player had made that contact with Swayman in the crease, then the goal would have been disallowed. According to the rules this 100 percent is a no goal.
