This Canucks game was just CRAZY to watch…

the Vancouver Canucks lose tot he Edmonton Oilers in game 2, a very bakc and forth match with Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl all getting on the board. The series is 1-1 in the playoffs and now it goes back to Edmonton for game 3.

  1. silovs was playing great! Heck of a game, nothing to be ashamed of. Even if we lose the series, the oilers have nothing to laugh about us! tbh only 2 goals silovs actually let in. one goal was from mcdavid on a breakaway which uhm i think thats like a 80% chance of goign in and the other one was a ian cole tip. if demko comes back, this series is bassicly over. Silovs absolutely carried us.

  2. They got the win, but they way overused McDavid and Draisaitl this game to get it. They're gonna be gassed by the end of the series if they keep doing the same thing.

  3. Why are all these teams having such dirty hit/plays on our players and being able to get away with it every single time it’s quite frustrating. Idc how hard this mid ass oilers team worked this was annoying asf to watch wish we coulda picked it up in the third.

  4. I think it evens out the no call hand pass the canucks had in game 1, very quickly followed by a goal 🤷‍♂️

  5. 1 loss and canucks fans already burning down that province. Smoke is lingering into alberta today. Lmaoo

  6. Yea, its the canucks and refs fault the high stick on hughes should have been a 5 min penalty and a game misconduct on mcdavid, which would not have the 3rd or the ot goal happen, but the canucks were also outplayed so both team and refs fault but mostly the refs

  7. Canucks fans taking this really well (from an oilers fan). This is going to be an amazing series and I'm just happy to see two fanbases unite around that. Good luck all! Hopefully the refs can figure it out for G3!

  8. Kelly Sutherland is notoriously bad when officiating Canucks games. Everyone knows it too, there is a reason why the betting odds swung so heavily towards the oilers when he was announced as the referee.

  9. That was a weird game. So much was predicted before the game. Ref Sutherland be mediocre was talked about on radio ahead of game, Cole getting a goal for the Oilers was joked about, Kane being cheap and McDavid kicking it up a notch. Im a Canucks fan and there is no way we were going to sweep the Oilers. Oilers are a great team. I just hope we can take the series. I thought the Oilers played a great 3rd and deserved the win.

  10. Not to shit on the refs, but the refs also missed a blatant high stick on the cancuks – when one of yall players clipped Hyman earlier in the 1st preioud. Let's not act like Oilers got some preference treatment.

  11. These teams are even. Nucks play as a team oilers are all super stars a bit more individual like the Leafs. I will say one thing i get so annoyed are panelsists trashing the Canucks and praising the Oilers like canucks best them the whole season yes playoffs are different but the Oilers are the same team. Why cant we just enjoy an all canadian match up.

  12. Really could be 2-0 for the oilers if they hold that lead in game 1 even with questionable reffing. Drai coulda scored 2 and put it away early. Vancouver didnt generate much. Oilers played a solid road game. Carried the play most of the third. Now Vancouver has to go to edm where the oilers are a different animal. Edm in 5 baby!😊

  13. In the NHL, high sticking that results in drawing blood is considered a major penalty, which means the offending player is ejected from the game for five minutes, and the team must play short-handed for the duration of the penalty.

Conor should be ejected , he wouldn’t score the tying goal

  14. I'm a Canucks fan and I admit the Oilers dominated in the third period, however, I believe the outcome might have been different if the officiating wasn't so horrible. High sticking drawing blood, slew footing, and spearing are considered major offenses yet not one of them got called which if they had, could have changed the pace of the game and possibly the momentum of play. Especially since the Canucks had the lead.

  15. Edmonton needs to get injured, take a game misconduct and just remove 2 or 3 of their players from the series. Not for Canucks advantage, just cause their dirty fucks that didn't get called for it.

  16. I’ve said this since the start. This series is going to be Close. I have faith in the Canucks and making it to the third just cause of how they can get their shit together. Even then when the canucks were not playing their standard last night they still lead most the game. Sunday will be good

  17. There's letting them play after some rough housing in front of a net, but non calls negatively impact the integrity of the game. Without consistent rules being upheld, what's the point of any of this. IOU penalties make no sense. Call all of them, both teams. Game management has gone too far.
