That was absolute savage performance from Conor and Leon. They played damn near half the game and put on a clinic despite the hard checking and abuse the Canucks were dishing out. We need to also mention that Ekholm was a beast tonight as well, he got a goal but on Defence we was A+! I don't know if we win that game without Ekholm being as good as he was tonight
There should’ve been a penalty on the Canuck for unsportsmanlike conduct taking out McDavid after the goal was in the net already, that could’ve ended his career.
One thing NEVER mentioned when playing in Vancouver is the oxygen levels at sea level are richer, so teams like Edmonton (and why Colorado is inherently scary) that live at high altitudes (Ed is 667m) do have an advantage in an endurance event.
Notice when McDavid scored that goal they chopped his feet out from under him. Vancouver that was intent to injure you should be ashamed the defencemen should be called before the league.

Oilers dodged a bullet, Reffs are paving the way to the Rangers for Edmonton…Mcdavid left a scar on Hughes face and that 4 minute PP would have changed the entire game…2nd game where the Reffs favored Oilers this series. Pretty dam sad considering the Oilers have an imploding Goalie and are PP. Merchants… this is how you win…ugly and greasy and dirty….the Officials have set the bar now by screwing up the last 2 games in a row….right now every Team left in the playoffs knows they better start diving and acting and baiting the officials like the Oilers are doing or they will not have a fair chance to win this year. The Bettman lean is in the Oilers direction till they wipe out the other Canadian Team the one with the best chance of beating the Rangers and of producing a Super-Exciting Canadian vs America Stanley Cup Final.

Was a tight game. Could a went either way. Oilers need better goal tending and lines 2-4 to start producing if they have a chance.
