The Dallas Stars built another multi-goal lead against high-scoring Colorado. This time, they held on to win and avoid another 0-2 hole in the NHL playoffs.

“Found a way to win the game, and that’s the most important thing,” Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen said.

Heiskanen scored two power-play goals, Roope Hintz had a goal and three assists and the Stars beat the Colorado Avalanche 5-3 in Game 2 on Thursday night to even the second-round Western Conference series.

  1. Hey, Pete, what is up with the D? How do you give up a 4-goal lead to make it closer than it should have ever been? Two of D's goals were on the PP, so it seems obvious you had better play improved 5-on-5 hockey. Hoping for better D in Colorado.

  2. Felt like Dallas got their legs back, the fore check was grinding. great win, not concerned with the Ave's comeback, they are an adept scoring team and this is playoff hockey. Great game STARS!!!
