Eh youre gonna lose like that in the playoffs sometimes, and as far as losses go that one wasnt the worst, avs showed pushback until the last couple seconds. Its all about how you respond and i have confidence in the boys. If you told me when this started we could be tied 1-1 going back home id probably take it.

The Avs played badly but did anyone else see in both games the ice in Dallas was terrible! I believe that’s done on purpose to slow down Avs!

I have a problem with the stars not defending each other also
This is the definition of a game where the team hung the goaltender out to dry. Georgiev was AWESOME in this game. All four goals not at all on him. He made several truly incredible saves and kept the Avs in this one, gave them a chance, until the very end. Dallas could have scored 9 or 10 goals if Georgiev wasn't as great as he was. It's a shame the majority of the team was asleep at the wheel in this one. Girard and Lehkonen were both awesome. Them and Georgiev are my three stars for sure. The penalties in this one too. My lord. Two Delay of Game and two Too Many Men? Just shooting themselves in the foot over and over and over. Special teams failed them in this one too. No PP goals(especially at the end with a chance to tie the game 6 on 4 with the goalie pulled) and they gave up two PP goals and a SHG. Just a wildly awful game.

At least we split 1-1 in Dallas. Reminded me a ton of Game 2 vs the Blues in 2022. I think if the Avs play a full 60 in games 3 and 4 we go up 3-1 in the series and close out in Dallas (since we never close out at home). It's fully time to put Mikko on the second line when Drouin gets back into the lineup.
