The Edmonton Oilers lost to the Vancouver Canucks last night despite the strong lead the Oilers started with.

  1. I think skinner played well, the only “soft” one i personally thought he let in was the garland gwg. The zadorov goal he was tripple screened by his OWN defencemen(that one hurt)… the miller goal was just pure filth, not much he can do for that it was just a great tip. And the Joshua goal was just a weird bounce and didn’t really get to see it too well but I think he’ll definitely bounce back. Oil in 5 we always loose game one🤫

  2. Not to take away from that comeback but Skinner isn’t exactly Bob or Ullmark or Swayman.

  3. The best part of our victory last night was how overconfident the Oilers fans were the night before.
    Keep underestimating our boys.

  4. Canucks gotta have the most annoying fans in the leauge, imagine making the playoffs for the first time in like 10 years and you win 1 game in the second round and they think they’re winning the cup, the oilers lose games one’s everyone knows this and the thing no one is talking about is the oilers played bad hockey for 90 percent of the game and bearly lost canucks fans should be scared and way way less cocky

  5. I am starting to think that Zach Hyman has infected the Oilers with a slight leafiness. If it had gone to over time it would look like a leafs game almost play for play. They score and play well until the 3rd period and then somehow blow a 4-1 lead. We have done it several times in the regular season and several times in the post season. Even in a game 7!

  6. After the 2nd goal, I thought we were done. I turned it off. I was expecting a blowout. I check the score later and its 4-3! Turned the game back on just before Zadorov scored. OMG!

  7. 2 things that terrified me. Silovs not knowing where the puck is to get saved by the post on a wide open net. Also there was a throw of the puck that should’ve been a penalty, we even got a hot mic on cbc.

  8. The game started 5:08AM my time and ended somewhere around 8AM. Stop complaining about the time, it's much worse for the Europeans

  9. Reffing wasn’t great. Canuck player was slashed near end of 1st period no call, even though was down on ice. Canuck player threw the puck out their zone, no whistle, shorty after they scored (maybe the ref saw something that I didn’t or it is actually okay to throw puck out of your zone. If Canucks play way they have been they will lose. They almost lost to Oilers. A team they should easily beaten, and there’s still 6 more games left in this round. Canucks won’t stand a chance in conference finals, they have to use round 2 as time to improve, or they just end up like oilers, losing in round 3 for not learning from their mistakes.. Oilers problem is not being lucky. It’s been like that for most of season.

  10. vancouver got the lucky bounces, skinner put in two on himself, and the refs gave vancouver 3 times more powerplays. The only reason why it turned out that way

  11. I’ve never seen a player get as many easy goals as Hyman. That guy has mastered the art of tapping the puck into an empty net.

  12. Skinner was brutal on that Garland goal, that just cant go in

If Draisaitl is legit injured and can't go this series is over already

  13. As a Canucks fan of 30 years, I'm used to my team being the one that holds the lead until the 3rd period, then gets it blown to ****, especially in the playoffs. Nice to be on the other side for a change.

  14. What they did was beat a goalie on a bad night. He should not have let in 3 of those goals.

  15. I wouldn't say there's questions about Vancouver goaltending really. Sure, Silovs didn't have the best game, but he's been playing exceptionally well for a young rookie goaltender, even getting a shutout to close out the series. He's been pretty phenomenal and obviously isn't going to always have a superb game, as even the best goalies of all time have bad games. His nerves have been really solid as well which was my biggest surprise of such a young goalie.

  16. Hangover on a work day and I couldn't care less. The Nucks are providing some of the most insane sporting experiences ever.

  17. We are their Kryptonite. They can't understand it. They talk like they're all confident but the Canucks are livin rent free in their heads.
