Sammy showed up for us in Game 7. Keefe should've called time out after Willy scored to regroup (cause we cough one always right after) OT goal sure something could have been done…..but it was all on our special team and Mitch and Rielly's fault for that dagger. Stay smilin Sammy.

love sammy but we need a dependable number 1 goalie a proven #1 goalie sammy was great alot but always let to many soft goals in gets out of positions alot we need woll yo stop with getting hurt all the time we need a goalie

I like this guy. I like his attitude, his work ethic, his ability to handle criticism, and his character. It sucks he wasn’t able to make the saves the team desperately needed. Wish nothing but the best for him.
Sammy, if you happen to read these now that the seasons done. Regardless of what happens, thank you very much for your time as a leaf, great person, great goalie. You'll see a lot of hate, but some leaf fans are reactionary on a game to game basis, not looking at the full picture. You are a great Leaf.

Do not resign this guy. He is unfortunately just not cut out for the NHL anymore, let alone a playoff contending team and especially not a team with any Stanley Cup aspirations.
