Zibanejad slewfoot on Palmieri? Have your say!

Did Mika Zibanejad slewfoot Kyle Palmieri or not? Have your say!

  1. Slewfoot requires the skates make contact. At absolute worst, the knees clip. Absolutely not a slewfoot, even on a technicality. And that's before nothing that the instant contact is made, Zibanejad takes avoiding action. Not sure who got you to post this as one, but you should get them fired. 😉

ETA: Watched it again and I give Palmieri an embellishment penalty. That's a 10/10 dive.

  2. Holding or Interference. It looks similar but Palms is thrown down awkwardly and looks kinda slewy. He fell bad…

  3. I'm just not seeing it at all. Rangers broadcast thought it was a high stick. I don't really think there's anything there watching these replays

  4. 0:14 There's Mika kicking Palmieris right leg out WHILE using his arm to knock him over backwards. That is the definition of slew foot. Just because Palms is creating a little interference (something EVERY player does) doesn't make it OK to slew foot the guy. Textbook slew foot. If you watch Kyles left leg you'll see how close Mika came to blowing Kyles knee out. VISCIOUS! This move typically gets a clean player a game off because it's so dangerous.

  5. No skew foot. Looks like Palm Mary got twisted around and fell. Wanna see slew footing? Look up Marchand and Subban.
