SSSVD + C + I = Size, Speed, Skill, Vision, Determination + Combine + Interview …. HABS MUST STOP DRAFTING PLAYERS SMALLER THAN 6'-2" …. North American ice is (200'x85'). After a max. of 28 games in the playoffs, with all the traveling and physical abuse and pounding on the ice, the smaller players will be much more damaged than the larger and heavier player. IMO the Blues have shown that size and weight can defeat Skill and Speed on small ice surfaces. In this past Stanley cup final, the Bruins smaller players (Mcavoy, Krugg, Grzelcyk, Marchand, Bergeron), were all pounded into fear, pain and innificiency. FYI, in March 2019 Montreal Canadiens had only 4 players that were 6’-3” and taller. .. Winnipeg had 10. .. St Louis had 9. … Boston had 4 .. The Sharks had 6. .. Tampa had 5. … When a 5000 pound GMC truck hits a 2500 pound Fiat, the truck driver walks away. IMO, if the NHL Stanley Cup finals was played on a European ice (205'x100') the superior skill and speed of the Bruins would have avoided much more physical contact and the Bruins would have prevailed.
Timmins draft picks have a 5% chance of making the NHL, he is one of the worst and unsuccessful scouts in the game. The stats don't lie. 4 players since 2013 have made the NHL that this twit has scouted. Give him the boot, take his boss Bergevin with him and get some new eyes on this team.
