Ellis takes skate to the face but gets lucky, skates off
A scary play that could have been much worse saw Ryan Ellis take a skate to the face from Ben Chiarot, but the Predators defenceman skated off on his own afterward.
Were Nashville fans chanting "refs, you suck" after this, or was I hearing it wrong? Hope Ellis is good to go. Didn't watch the rest of the game so not sure if he returned.
In NHL when someone hets hurt and he can go in the Bench with his own feet they Boo for the guy whi caused that thing in my coyntry we vheer for the injured guy If he Can go to the bench wit his own feet
What are the preds fans booing? Most people didn't even see what happened, and what happened would never be called as a penalty. When there is an unlucky collision you don't boo, you support your injured player when he gets up
That was so scary watching it last night. I am so thankful he was ok. Ellis is a bad ass and was back on the ice, stitched up, within 10 minutes of this happening.
I love hockey players. Ya take one in the chops & lose a few Chiclets… Yer back on the ice before the period ends. Ya get yer face chop suey-ed Friday night… You get up & go see the doc… & you're back in the line-up, next game (tonight) Lookin' like FrankenFace, but… LOL Goddamm, that's awesome. I don't care who y'are (& I'm not even a Nashville Predators fan, just a fan of hockey)

Any time a player dangles legs in air as they fall, automatic ejection. Those are razor sharp skates sharpened by expert equipment personell
On the replay it actually looked like a kick action.

You could tell when he was skating off, he was trying to get emotional but it definitely messed with his head
