Trouba hit on Jarvis – Have your say!

Jacob Trouba hit Seth Jarvis immediately after he got up from being boarded by Kris Kreider. The whistle had not yet gone, but was it high? Have your say!

  1. Same kind of hits in the Capitals series. No calls made there either. Looks like the NHL wants the Rangers this year to win the Cup.

  2. Like all Trouba hits is could go either way. Head contact yes and on second angle he delibritly puts shoulder to the head. But to be fair there is a height difference. But you can see hin lead with the shoulder to the head. TDA had a cleaner hit and was called for it. The TDA hit was 100% clean and got called. Pays to be an original six team.

  3. Jarvis did not have control of the puck and seemed to be looking for it, so that means you are in the play and open to be hit. No penalty, clean hit. Trouba is a beast.

  4. As a Canes fan, it is what it is. Ice is slippery and hockey is rough. Take some (hits), give some (hits). Nothing to see here. Jarvy is a tough guy and can handle it. Level someone in blue next game 🤷🏻‍♂️

  5. Jarvis is in a bad position, and Trouba went in too hot,but the puck was still there. Gotta keep your head up on the ice. Lucky for Jarvis,it wasn't worse

  6. Not necessarily a dirty hit by its nature – no direct head contact, didn't leap into it etc. It was however totally unnecessary, well away from the puck. 2 minutes for interference.

  7. Besides the blatant boarding that should be a 5 and several game misconduct its your typical blindside Trouba dirty ass hit.

  8. Principle point of contact isn't the head it's the chest/shoulder. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!!!! So many guys in this league just seem to have NO awareness anymore. 🙄
