This is the best DIY boxing spar bar build so far. It’s super stable, and there’s no need for an umbrella base! That’s right – no heavy base needed! This can also be used for your chin-up bar – just set up two of these poles and a cross bar and Bob’s your uncle! You can get a 2-pack of similar adjustable feet on Amazon US here: https://amzn.to/32oWA16 and a 2-pack of those exact bearings here: https://amzn.to/2AP055H (25x47x12)

thanks for the info
Very clever design !, I love it.
I wonder how to put a pad on the shorter side as a target, do you mind try this variation ?
Keep you great work 👍
Nice improvement! I'll have to gift my current version and make this one. I'll send you pictures of some tweaks I made on my 1st version. Keep up the good ideas bro! Its helping to keep the weight down.
Love the Aussie energy mate
Lol I'm doin it
Yo wassup Reedy I don’t know if you remember me but you inspired me to start boxing
Where did you purchase the ball barings
Where did you get the furniture legs from?
brilliant!
Fantastic replacement, it looks fantastic! If for whatever reason you can't get a hold of galvanised steel pipe, could PVC pipe work too?
Hey, me again. It just occurred to me; depending on the height of your ceiling, there might be a way you could use a shower curtain rod/tension rod as your pole. I see one on Amazon that can extend up to 3.60 metres, but the one that you've made here is a good DIY alternative.
Thanks Reedy, very practical end easy!
Felicito y agradezco mucho el ingenio de este amigo Reedy kewlus.
Broooo…this is an awesome build. About to head out to the hardware store. #respect
I'd like to give this a go. It looks brill:) Could you give me some idea of the length and thickness of the pvc pipe you used for the crossbar, please?:
Notice how it has no dislikes that right there is why this guy is amazing
This looks perfect mate, I'm assembling the materials as we speak. What size PVC pipe did you use? diameter and length?
Reedy,
The model I've been dreaming of would be a wall mounted boxing spar bar with a double-end bag (even if it is a very small bag) on the bottom of the vertical bar. It would be like what Nikita Kasyanov uses here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-D3IHIWNKY
This design is absolutely amazing! 👍 Great work!
I made this, cost me about $50 total and works great! I prefer this since there is no base and I can take it down easily when I need it out of the way. Thank you!
You make me wish I had facebook or something so I can chat with you about this project I am working on.
This video is great! i was close to forking out 300 bucks online for one like a sucker, until i came across your videos! What length is the PVC pipe approxiametly?
Amazing!
This is awesome any advice for a hanging one? Im trying to find out how to hang the pipe to the wooden beam i have on my ceiling
hey love the videos just wondering how you add/extend your galvanised steel pipe to make it longer
What size pvc pipe are you using for the arm?
Can you hit it hard? Dont see you training w it
Great idea! Why didn't you combine the first version, with the last? I liked the rotating mechanism better with the PVC cross piece. Just glue the pvc pipes together and you have a solid piece.
Even more brilliant!
Can I get the exact list of things you need please
Why you choose the one arm of PVC PIPE must be longer than the other?it performs better this way?
This is a funky idea I'm taking on board.
Would you say a reflex bar is better than a cobra bag?
How did it stick to the ceiling without falling?
