Morgan, you are a great guy, and I appreciate your always facing the heat. But you are really slowing down and this year was a brutal realization of the obvious fact. You have lost more than just a step. You need to play a more conservative game because right now you’re killing us out there.

Let’s face it, even if they beat Boston the Leafs were not a Cup contender this year. They just weren’t. We cannot blame the players for the way this team was built it was flawed from the beginning.
There are 30+ teams in the NHL and only 1 can win each year! The leafs were not going to win! This is professional sports the players are a small piece of the puzzle
Core 5 are duds for 8th straight year. Marner and cowardly Matthews have to go.
What pisses me off the most are these No Move Clauses these guys all have. It gives them all sense of safety. I’d under zero circumstances give anyone a NMC. A limited no trade clause sure, but not a single NMC. If that means they don’t sign then so be it. They don’t want to be here anyways. All fans now have to suffer due to Kyles and Brendan’s ineptitude.

Amazing how this guy bleeds blue and white, and yet the comments here are attacking him. Of all the players to sit here and whine about, Morgan is very far down the list. Maybe go get this guy a D partner who isn't AHL quality, it's getting tiresome seeing him have to make up for the Lyubushkin's of this world.

Mngmt squandered the talent burnt the farm prioritized small players and lost great talent – without getting anything in return. You can’t beat a big team with small team. I’m going to put my stick in your back until you make me stop and the leafs have no one to do that.
There is nothing wrong with the core but there is a huge problem with the fans and mngmt, and that is loyalty. Without loyalty, you never win. Scapegoating marner is idiocy. He is a great player. Did no one hear he had a high ankle sprain? Playoff stats:

Nylander 54 games 43 points +1 inconsistent one way player

He says this every year. Mo has been my favourite leaf for almost 9 years now. I know he has the passion and wants to win, but he's stuck in his old ways. I know he loves his teammates, but if he STILL can't see that the core 4 is not working then idk. A leader should want to see change after it's been almost a decade of the same story

Both Rielly and Marner need to go, you cant just figure skate for 8 years while getting paid millions of dollars eating at the salary cap with having 0 impact in the playoffs. Out of the 4 forwards only Matty and WIllie deserve to stay on the team after this season.

He was the 5th Best defensemen in this series for us . Played like a 3rd pairing D with top pairing minutes. Unacceptable at his price point.
