Rangers Hang On To Defeat Canes In A Physical Game 1 | New York Rangers



The Second Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs opened with a bang between the Rangers and Hurricanes at The Garden. Mika Zibanejad had 2 goals and an assist and Artemi Panarin’s goal would be the game winner for the Rangers. The Hurricanes were able to get within 1 in the final minutes of the game but Igor Shesterkin closed the door with 22 saves in the 4-3 Rangers win.

  2. LGR! 9-2 in last 11, 17-4 in last 21 and 39-0-1 when scoring 4 goals. Incredible! Mika almost had a hat-trick in 1st period alone lol. Let’s GOOOOOO! Rangers in 5…but 6 TOPS!

  3. I doubt the Candy Canes are that aggressive during PK again. Guys were wide open. They are better off trying to block passes and shots.

  4. I miss the MSG broadcast. These ESPN broadcasts are rough. Other than Mess schooling Subban there is really nothing special about them

  5. I love the analysis and insight these guys give. I look forward to this show as much as the Rangers game.
