Hope Toronto plays well in game 7 and the power play comes alive. Holmberg was definitely not the penalty. Boston player held the stick the whole way down instead of trying to stand up putting himself in a bad spot. Holmberg just wanted his stick back lol
Series went exactly as I predicted so far.
My God Steve would you keep your voice sound level consistent. My baby is sleeping so i put it at volume 4 cuz you’re yelling. Then you start fading out into a whisper so i put it up to volume 8. Ahhhhh I have to keep my finger on the volume buttons so I don’t wake anyone up!

I’m going to take credit for the noise. Hahaha Visiting from Nashville but huge hockey fan in general that really wants a Canadian team to take home the Cup this year (Edmonton is who I root for since I got into hockey but I like all 3 left – wish Vancouver wasn’t matched up with them in round 2 but in round 3). I was yelling my lungs out the whole game. The energy is what I think of with peak Bridgestone. Loved going. Great first time in a Canadian barn for a NHL game!! Love this team and SDP (and at least some of the Leafs fan base). Will be rooting for you all!!

This was the all time best game I've witnessed live EVER! The atmosphere was electric and rockin from puck drop to the 3 star selection and oh the SWAY..MAN chants were epic 😅😂🤣

I stated after Game 4 that the Leafs would take this to a game 6 or a game 7. I think they shouldn't play Matthews in game 7. There seems to be a Ewing effect in Toronto. They play better without him. They turn into a defensive, hard working, and gritty team.

One of the Leafs – might have been Keefe – said they've already played two game 7s. This is true but now the Bruins also are staring elimination in the face, so they'll also be playing desperation hockey. The winner will be the team that comes closer to finding that balance between desperate and disciplined. It's not easy to find that balance but the Leafs have had more, very recent experience of having to get there. It might give them a (small) advantage.

The fact the leafs BOTH held Boston to a single shot in the first period AND that shot came shorthanded tells you all you need to know about the Toronto Maple Leafs peak playoff performance here.
Or they could pull a san jose and if the game is close and keep him fresh till the third period and and put him on with fresh legs like they did with Goodrow and he tucked game winner in game 7(not that I'm saying they are the same players in skill or Eliteness, and Goodrow was not battling illness) but having him rest until the third when everyone else's is tired and have him at as best as their gonna get while he's sick might help put a few last min tucks
