    Would be nice to see the rookie shutout mcdouchebag and dreis-evil but demko will be better and back in goal by RD2 and the silver lining will be gone I couldn’t sit through that series for my own health… wouldn’t mind the oilers meeting the rangers to see what rempe could do to them though

    I saw people in Nashville sub saying the same thing. I am worried bout Vancouver playing Edmonton 4-7 more times but at least they took the season series (albeit in very different circumstances)… don’t look at it as cheering for Vancouver, just look at it as cheering for the oilers, and that bum Darnell Nurse, to lose. 🤓

    Agreed. As someone originally from Canada I am legally required to cheer for a Canadian team when the Kings are out but I’ll surrender my pet moose before I cheer for the Oilers

    Fuck every single thing about rooting for the Canucks, ever. I won’t root for them for any reason. I just hope that one team loses this round and the other the following round. “This a Canucks sub” my balls. I can’t believe anyone would upvote that even as a joke.

    I hate them both. Nucks really pissed me off at the end of the season, but the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Fuck the Oilers till the day I die. Also JT Miller carried my fantasy team this season. So, there’s that.

    Would you rather lose to the team the goes on to win the cup or lose to the team that goes on to lose immediately in the next round? I’m not sure if one is better than the other. Just curious

    Went to the Canucks subreddit, the top post is calling out Nashville for a great season, specifically mentioning that if predator fans are lurking after the series loss they (Canucks fans) wanted them (predators fans) to see positive things about their team. That’s surpsingly wholesome.

    Went to the predators subreddit, there was no Canucks fans causing a ruckus or talking crap. One “I come in peace” bro, but that’s it. No harassment. No suicide messages. No trolls.

    I went to the Oilers subreddit just to compare……

    The top 5 posts were simply shitting on the Kings, including a post thanking PLD and Rob Blake for making their first round so easy. Everyone was joining in, and only one person noted how bad it made their fanbase look. He was swiftly downvoted into oblivion.

    The Canucks may be another division rival, but they are 100x better than the Oilers.

    This is less about supporting Vancouver in winning than it is in Edmonton losing. One can’t happen without the other so I’ll begrudgingly support the Canucks…the playoffs bring strange bedfellows
