I wouldn’t mind seeing DeBrusk in Buffalo. He has never lived up to the hype in Boston, but he is consistently good for 20goals / 40points. He’s played in the SC finals when they lost to St Louis. He isn’t the most physical player, but he plays the game harder then most Sabres. Unfortunately, he will probably get a good pay day and I can’t see overpaying for a guy like him. That’s the kind of mistakes we have made in the past.

Of the 3 free agents in the top 25, whether they would come here or not, I would target Dakota Joshua, Chandler Stevenson and Lindholm. If Tyler Myers would come back for two years it would be an upgrade on 4-6th D, vet and playoff experience, but I think he resigns in Van and Tocchet likes him, where before he was going to be moved or not signed. My two cents
