The Dallas Stars are the first home team in the series to win, as they take down the Vegas Golden Knights by a final score of 3-2 in game five. Jake Oettinger was remarkable in the 3rd period and Jason Robertson scored the game winning goal to seal the win. The story coming out of game five though is the Stars team defense. They put on a clinic in the final 20 minutes and limit Vegas’s chances to lead them to victory. Chris Tanev, Esa Lindell, Miro Heiskanen and Thomas Harley all had big nights. Joey breaks down game five and his opinions after watching the first five games of this series. He also highlights Robertson who leads the Stars in points in the series and continues to be effective in all three zones. Also, Wyatt Johnston picked up two assists if you forgot about him. To close out the episode, we look ahead to game six on Friday night in Vegas where the Stars have a chance to close out the series and move on to round two.

All good now and hopefully they come on top in 7. BUT wearing down the D's and expecting you will be ready to take on Colorado fatigued and bruised-up is going to be a rough ride specially in the first game where either Vegas or Dallas will be destroyed. That is a hard physical series which is going to take too much of a toll on the Players facing the next round.

So proud of this team, they've really shown they've got what it takes to go the distance. And that breakaway save by Otter very well might have been the game saver, also that 3-0 breakaway that dadonov whiffed on Stankoven really should've shot there instead of passing off, might've scored; that'll come with time though he's young and you can tell he has the makings of an elite playmaker.
Truly Believe if Otter Doesnt Stop that Breakaway Vegas wins that game, Woulda just SUCKED EVERY BIT of momentum… If we go on to win this thing, Otters save won the series.

Mad props to Stankoven with that absolutely disgustingly beautiful play that Vegas could do absolutely nothing about. And insane props to Otter yet again! I know he would have liked to have back that tuck in goal from behind the net earlier in the game but that beautiful BEAUTIFUL desperation save sprawling out with the pads in the 3rd. Even the announcers were losing their minds on how he kept that out. This is our time!!! Knock them out!
