I have followed PHNX for the last three years! Brodie Brazil for a little over a year now.. I , Love That Two World Finally collided
Should have stayed in Glendale. It was not an ideal location for fans in the East valley but at least there would still be NHL hockey in the desert for many many years to come. If a new venue was preferrable, should have had plans first before parting ways. I do understand there were a lot of factors in Glendale that I may not be privy to but… the Yotes would still be in AZ!

Utah ended up with a team because Alex Meruelo is a GREEDY, LOUSY OWNER AND HAS ZERO BUSINESS SENSE FOR BEING A BILLIONAIRE! ALL SIDES could have made it work IF everyone wasn't so GREEDY! Before Alex Meruelo, the team was plagued by HORRIBLE OWNERSHIP that had NO RESPECT FOR THE FANS. As much as I want hockey in the valley, THE FANS WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH ALEX MERUELO PERIOD! MERUELO IS A CANCER! The sooner THE NHL, GARY BETTMAN CATCH ON, THE BETTER IT WILL BE ON THE FUTURE OF HOCKEY IN ARIZONA. Nobody will admit it, but THE NHL took the franchise away due to Meruelo incompetence. Found a willing buyer with deep pockets! Then BETTMAN gives Alex Meruelo a FIVE YEAR PLAN, giving outs for the league and FINALLY A DEADLINE FOR THE IDIOT! I don't think Meruelo is even serious of bidding on the property. The fans are tired of getting SCREWED, AND ALEX MERUELO KNOWS IT! If he built a new arena, the fans won't pay the money, knowing the money is going to DESTROYED HOCKEY IN AZ! I'm sad for the fans here in Arizona, but think the fanbase is behind hockey in the valley but CLEARLY DON'T WANT THE P.O S. OWNER!

What I don't understand about the Glendale wanting a long term lease info is Glendale had a previous 15 year lease with the Coyotes, that the Coyotes didn't honor in Glendale's eyes, and that lease was terminated early in favor of short term leases.
When is the change of mind happening for Glendale?

Eh I mean the St. Louis Blues have feeder teams they pull from across 3 or 4 states since they are the only big city in a large tri-state area.
