The only time players get pulled from games in the playoffs is concussions. Not sure where you guys heard that players cant play hurt or sick anymore? Oshie just revealed he played fhe first round woth a broken hand that team doctors know about. Either matthews and nylander had concussion issues or there is something serious about the illness we arent being told. Its the playoffs, pop some gravol and get the fuck on the ice you are about to be the highest paid player in the league, if its revealed he seriously didnt play because of food poisoning then this guy needs to go

Coach Keefe really didn't play Woll except for one game in the 12 game ending season stretch, this was a mistake, Woll is simply being placed in this terrible situation with very little games played, Keefe is not a prime time ready coach for a franchise as huge as Toronto.

It truly is AMAZING how CODDLED THESE BABIES ARE, especially when you consider how much money they make. Oh, and YES before anyone tries to come at me, I’m a disabled combat veteran rated P&T so I’ve literally lived EVERY SINGLE DAY OF MY LIFE IN SEVERE PAIN FOR NEARLY 15 YEARS since my injury in November of ‘09!! Also, being almost 40 years old, I’m old enough to remember when guys played SEVERELY INJURED. Hell I remember Chara having his jaw shattered and HE STILL PLAYED. Bergy played game 6 of the Finals against the Blackhawks (B’s fans remember, that’s the game TEFLON TUUKKA BLEW THE GAME by giving up NOT ONE, BUT TWO GOALS IN SPAN OF LITERALLY 17 seconds but he is a completely separate issue/story all together) anyways, Bergy played with a SEPARATED SHOULDER, BROKEN RIBS, AND A PUNCTURED LUNG!!! Meanwhile nowadays A HEADACHE KEEPS GUYS OUT MULTIPLE GAMES!! I wonder if there’s a correlation between paying a player MORE AND THEIR VAG’S BECOMING LARGER!!!?
Auston has been hit more in this series than in 82 games this past season. It only takes one calculated hit by the opposition to do the job. Hence, he won't be playing tonight.
Matthew’s is sick? Meanwhile two other players in the first round were playing with broken bones. A fact that no one found out until the series were done. They didn’t want sympathy, this is what it takes to compete for the Cup. I think Austin knows the writing is on the wall and wants nothing to do with this game 5. I predict he’ll ask to be traded.
There are dozens of very seasoned players around the NHL that many teams would love to have that turned down spots on Canadian teams. The pressure to perform in Canada is just too intense, so intense with the media that the game is no longer fun. It’s a fact that in US cities the pressure to perform is far less and they find it more enjoyable. I’m a Ranger fan but a closet Leafs fan as well. When I see massive crowds outside Canadian arenas with hundreds of rabid fans that tells you everything. Leafs fans are the truest, and most dedicated I’ve ever seen. If the Rangers are lucky enough to make it to the finals you won’t find a single person screaming outside of MSG. It’s just not the same.
