Didn’t the Bruins finish ahead of the Leafs in the regular season? You wouldn’t think it after watching this video. The Leafs could win the series , we saw last year anything can happen but the Bruins are the team that should win the series.

Bruins are gonna kill the leafs. My guess is B's win in 5. Leafs dont play with half the heart of most teams.
Im hoping debrusk and marchands hatred of the leafs wakes them up a bit. Our poor numbers in the regular season are partly because at least 2 players that we know are capable of drastically more just haven't seemed motivated. Those two fucking hate the leafs, and if they can use that to get back in to form, they're actually capable of changing the complexion of games.

Leafs fan. My concerns;
– depth scoring goes quiet
– goaltending
– Coyle line against Leafs L1.
– DeBrusk having a +3 goal series

Ima keep it real the X factors aren’t gonna be the goalies we know they will be good. The X factors will be pasta and the secondary scoring. If pasta isn’t our best player we lose. Simple as that
This is gonna be a Bottom 6 series. The Leafs don’t have a high powered bottom 6, but the Bruins absolutely do. It’s gonna be a HUGE series for the likes of Freddie, Geekie and Boqvist. If Brazeau comes back, he’s the biggest X Factor one could ask for.

on paper the goals and defence are much much better for the bruins.
leafs offence is better. but they don't play playoff hockey.
The problem is this. When your defence is sold in the regular season, you carry that into the playoffs easily, but when your offence is good it doesn't necessarily translate because you face more hurdles, ie more slashing, grabbing, hitting, shoving etc. So, if you have a weak group of forwards, you are sunk.
you know the saying "hockey should be called goalie".
Samsonov is suspect.
Woll is injured.
the solid goalie is Jones but he's way too rusty.
The series largely comes down to Samsonov vs Ullmark/Sway.
That's why I love NHL playoffs… it doesn't matter what anyone does over the season. Leafs win on paper… but we are 4-0 against them this year, in the last 2 games we have outscored them 8-1. (4-0, 4-1) and the 2 before that were a win in OT and a win in the shootout. They have a top 6… we have Marchand and Pasta (Pasta is kind of trash. He gives the puck away more than he makes a successful pass, shot, or goal.) We would be better if we traded him for two average top 6. Bertuzzi scares the fuck out of me by the way. When I found out he was leaving I almost cried.
Top 4 players Leafs have us 3-1 but after that I’ll take the bruins all day.
