The Dallas Stars take down the Vegas Golden Knight in an overtime thriller by a final score of 3-2. Joey reacts to Wyatt Johnston’s overtime winner and the Dallas Stars dominance for much of game three. The Stars could not have had a better start, after Miro Heiskanen made it 2-0 in the 2nd period it felt like Dallas was untouchable. However, Logan Thompson for Vegas was incredible and would not allow the Stars to extend their lead. Joey breaks down game three and how the Stars could change the entire series if they can replicate their success in game four. He discusses the new line combinations without Radek Faksa and Mason Marchment, and the defensive play of Ryan Suter, Chris Tanev and others. The Stars and Golden Knights play game four on Monday night.

How good did Craig Smith look last night!? He should have been in the lineup since game 1. Craig gives 100% on every shift.
Stellar performance. With the number of missed breakaway attempts combined with other missed opportunities for goals should have been 10-2
Oettinger should have been sharper like he was against the Flames in the previous playoff run. He needs to help out more. Remember the piles of saves he made against Calgary? Circus saves. That's how he needs to play.
4:06 Wait, VGK got 12 chances in the first 40 minutes? I honestly would have expected that number to be lower.
As a VGK fan, the skaters didn’t show up for half of this game and they still almost won. Logan Thompson was an absolute brick wall. All the credit in the world to Johnston for that sharp angle shot that finally went in, but I would very much hope that the VGK skaters will actually show up on Monday. And yes, I know that Dallas was more desperate in game 3 than VGK (and for very understandable reasons).
vegas is a momentum killer, stars need to be careful and work even harder

I think we beat the VGK's goalie thru the air. Meaning more scoring chances "off the ice". Flip the puck up on him more, over the shoulder goals, etc, etc.

Vegas played like garbage for two periods, dallas played full A plus game and VGK still took the stars to OT. Garbage goaltending, none of stars players couldn't finish their chances. That doesn't concern you at all?

Seems Thomson 5 hole his weakest part need to focus more shots towards that spot… suter good when he doesn’t have to be a #1 just need add someone play with him on the 3rd paring as a shut down/eat some minutes for other d pairs

Logan Thompson was a beast but Stars should take notice. Besides "top shelf" like Wyatt did so masterfully, on those one on ones, especially looking back on Seguin's first one on one, he is very susceptible to a "5 hole" shot. Benn did it in an earlier game and it's wide open when he commits one way or the other. Johnston was a beast too at only 20 years old. LOL when the coach said he can't even play cards in the Casino! Go Stars!
Dallas had to play their best game of the year against VGK who didn’t play anywhere near their potential (except Thompson) and they still barely won in OT. VGK is gonna respond.
