Filip Forsberg, Roman Josi, and the Nashville Predators took the ice at Bridgestone Arena for the first home playoff game in two years against JT Miller, Brock Boeser, and the Vancouver Canucks. While Nashville controlled much of the game at five on five, it was special teams that helped Vancouver get the road win in Game 3. It was a mirror image of game two with the Canucks doing to Nashville what the Predators did to Vancouver last game. It's going to be a long series.

Canucks fan here. So happy our pp finally showed up. Our pk has been really good all series. 5 on 5 Nashville dominated. I think it waa their best game of the series so far. Luckily DeSmith was good and we kept things to the perimeter. Preds stole game 2 and Canucks stole game 3. I'm worried about game 4 though. Nashville's pp is overdue and you have an excellent coach. I expect you to get it working soon. Canucks need to be sharper 5 on 5 or Nashville ties the series. Also I hope Nashville opens it up. That was the style they played in the first 3 meetings of the season and it worked out very well. The first half of the season Vancouver played a more open style and they actually had a better record. I think Tocchet has in his mind that this style won't win in the playoffs but in the case of Vancouver vs Nashville I see Vancouver having the superior fire power and I mean that respectfully. I actually think playing this low event shut down style against Nashville may be a tactical mistake
Long time preds fan here gotta give credit to Vancouver. They played excellent defensively and gave us a taste of our own medicine after game 2. With that being said though can't be too upset with the game Nashville put up an impressive 5 on 5 performance that left us frustrated. Feel like the result should be different but there is a lot of positives from this game. My only major concern after game 3 is that special teams have to be better. It's going to be a good long series and I have no doubt that is they keep up the good play this could be a 7 game series.
