Hot Take: After a tight series between Edmonton and Carolina, the Oilers find themselves ahead 2-1 in the 3rd period of game seven. With Connor McDavid out last game after Evan Bouchard pushed Skinner into his captain, Brad Malone draws into the lineup. In the dying seconds of the third period still leading 2-1 with Carolina's net empty, Edmonton clears the zone with a pass to Malone who scores the empty net goal and wins the game. In the end, Brad Malone wins the Conn Smythe and decides to come back and become the captain
