Nothing beats that feeling in Montreal. You know summer is coming, all the city talks is the games…

It was such a huge whiplash going from the 2021 Stanley Cup Finals to being a bottom rung team for the preceding three years.
Usually a team that makes it to the finals and looses is still a competitive team the next year and likely able to qualify for the playoffs. But with the 2021 cup run it was the highest of highs followed by the lowest of lows; that doesn’t usually happen.
I miss being in the playoffs.

Holy shit – I knew it has been a while since I went to a playoff game but didn’t realize it was 7 years ago. I went to game 1 of that series and it was my daughter’s first Habs game. She was only 5 months old!
