We’ve pretty easily outplayed them this game and are down by 2. If this is the goaltending we get we are done in 4
I mean as much as we know Georgiev has been an issue. Helly has also let 5 in…. So we’ll see how this goes game 2 if juice is ready because my God let hope bednar starts him.
The fact we are going to lose by multiple goals scoring 5 against the leading Vezina candidate is absolutely wild. I doubt Helly looks like this again during the series

Kinda hard to win when your defense and goalie has the consistence of swiss cheese. Equally full of holes. Atleast the offense is good, there’s SOME hope to make this a series.
5 goals on Hellebuyck and still losing. Bad defense is one thing, we get lax after we score. 7 goals allowed by Georgie on 22 shots in inexcusable. We cannot rely on him to get through two periods without a goal, let alone win us a game. Whatever happens in these playoffs our starter needs to be addressed, he has the mentality of a glass house.

Honestly for a seven game series, seeing a 37 SOG, 5 goal game would be worrying for the other team as I feel like that indicates more of a systematic dismantling than a 7 goal 22 SOG game being more indicative of just an absolute meltdown by the opposing defense that could be mitigated by game 2
