Locked on Wild POSTCAST: Wild Season Ends with 4-3 Loss to Seattle Kraken



The Minnesota Wild saw their season come to an end after a 4-3 loss to the Seattle Kraken at Xcel Energy Center Thursday night. The Wild finish their season 39-33-10 and led 1-0 after Kirill Kaprizov’s 46th goal of the season. The Kraken tied it at 1-1 on a Power Play goal from Matty Beniers. Both teams scored a breakaway goal to start the 3rd, as Yanni Gourde scored a shorthanded breakaway to make it 2-1. ats Zuccarello scored on a breakaway of his own to tie the score at 2-2. Seattle scored twice in less than a minute, including an empty net goal for Gourde to make it 4-2. Brock Faber scored on the Power Play to make it 4-3 but the Wild could not complete the comeback. The Wild have a lot of work to do in the offseason in anticipation for the 2024-25 season.
