Why would the Blues trade Parayko? Unless they're getting something decent in return, like Minten or a first, I don't see why they would do it.

Brodie and Gregor and a prospect because in 2 years Tavares comes off the books at 11 mil and if he resigns it won't be for near that same money. Cap hit won't be a problem if Brody is moved. First round pick in the deal would require at least 50% salary retention for at least 3 – 4 years.

As a subscriber gentelmen I want to say one thing. You guys are young, I was 6 going 7 the last tiem the Leafs won the cup. I don't want to hear any chat about salary regarding the Leafs. The fans have paid enough, spend some damn money and bring us a winner for onece!

I just found this website. People please put yourself in Doug Armsrong position. Do you really beleive he would not only trade away Parayko but take on Brodie 5 million expiring contract and not even ask for Leafs first round pick as part of the package? Why on earth would Armstrong possibly do this? How.does actually help the Blues and not utterly hinder them?
