He was definitely injured. You can see the collision from Trenin on February 20th that caused him to leave the game and hasn't played since.
Then he was diagnosed, and it was publicly stated, that he has a lacerated spleen. The recovery time for a lacerated spleen is 3-6 months, however a study, Splenic Lacerations and Return To Play, published by the NCBI shows that hockey players have returned at 2 months from a lacerated spleen without negative impact.
2 months from February 20th is today.
Tell me what part of that is not true.
