LOL!!! Painful but true. If PLD had REALLY wanted the Habs, he would have waited the year until he became UFA and could sign with whoever he liked. Instead, he and his agent forced a trade that Montreal was in no position as a rebuilding team to participate in. Kind of cynical, but he got what he wanted in the end, so good for him. But anyone who thinks he wasn't using Montreal as leverage to get the best contract he could from whoever he could is very naive.
