I'm a bit concerned with the Oiler record against top teams. That 5-1 loss to Avs didn't make me feel great, and the loss to the Maple Leafs on HNIC also rattled me. But I'm Oilers forever, I hope they turn the heat up even higher in the playoffs.
Remember when we talked about the Oilers at the beginning of this year? "Cup of Bust"? They still need to play the game and win 4 before the other team does.
LA has gotten worse since last year, and the Oilers have gotten better…. x factors like Corey Perry, the coaches, Henrique, Pickard will ALL be difference makers for EDM, I believe.

LA is not a fast team but plays a smart game. I’d be looking at putting Gagne in the line up for the experience he brings.
