if you’re a rangers fan that is ~30 or older, you should know the rangers don’t win a playoff series in less than 6 games. this series is going 6-7 games and honestly I wouldn’t be shocked if we fucking lost because if there is anything the rangers do well, it’s let me the fuck down.
since 1990, we have won a total of 5 series in less than 6 games. you are all so sensitive holy shit. it’s the playoffs (most of those before 1997), nothing is going to be easy and the fact half of this sub thinks washington is going to be a cake walk just shows how young or naive (or both) this sub is.

Tbh, Wysh, despite being a devil’s fan, isn’t terribly biased. He likes to shit talk a bit but nothing egregious imo.

Honestly I’d be kinda disappointed if it took us longer than 6 to put them away. They’re one of the worst teams to make the playoffs in many years, so anything less than a sound defeat isn’t going to inspire a lot of confidence in future rounds.
Maybe I’m getting too penisy, but this probably shouldn’t be that competitive if we want to go all the way. There are much more difficult teams to get through, we can’t really afford to screw around and let them push us to the brink.
If we actually somehow get bounced, it may be time to seriously consider shaking up the core. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that.
