The leafs forwards really can’t get to the middle of the ice right now and it feels like their dman are making uncharacteristic pinches to try to compensate for this.
Oddly I feel strangely meh about being 2 down. Maybe because I didn’t really expect too much of this playoffs.
Boston is such a tough opponent. Don’t the Leafs have a very long streak of not being shut out in the regular season + playoffs combined? And they were 1 goal shy of being the #1 team in goals this season. And yet they’ve got 0.
Not having Nylander to take third line minutes is a killer.
