I think it's crucial to state: Pavel Zacha and Charlie Coyle have combined for more points than Bergeron and Krejci did last season.
Zacha and Coyle this season: 46-73-119
Bergeron and Krejci last season: 43-71-114

The bruins are build to get 2 goals against on a normal night. On a good day 1, on a bad day 3-4. try to win 4 games against a team with pasta on it that doesn‘t let you score more than 2 goals most nights. Every single player on that team is defensively responsible. If you start to play poor d on the bruins you are the joke of the team basically. That mentality is worth so much, you are proud on their effort even on bad nights as a fan. Scoring points is just coming when you frustrate the other team. I mean it is kinda easy to win game when 2-3 goals are enough on most nights

My problem isn't Boston. My problem is that the Leafs have less than zero defence. They took what defensive D they did have and replaced them with players who aren't. When they lost was the trade deadline.

The biggest factor might be goaltending which I believe heavily favours the Bruins
Other than last year the last time the Leafs won a playoff series some guy named Mats Sundin was their captain. The last time the Leafs beat the Bruins was the same year the classic tv show the Twilight Zone debuted, no one had heard of the Beatles, and John Diefenbaker was the Prime Minister of Canada. I want them to kick the Bruins ass, but I'm taking the Bruins in 6 just because of history if nothing else.

John Tavares slipped alittle bit is the understatement of the century slipped from what?? Guy has never won more than 2 1st round series as a Captain on 2 different teams. In all honesty he was a draft bust and an all in all toxic locker room guy. Not 1 free agent the leafs signed after acquiring him has chosen to stay with the leafs. You will say Giordano but he is old and just wanted to play at home. But no other player choose to stay with John Tavares after playing with him. He is trash cant skate, cant win faceoffs, doesnt play defense. Bonified BUM
If i was a betting man, Mathiews and Marner under perform, Leafs still beat Bruins, Sammy stands on his head and is near unstoppable, Leafs D mangle up the Bruins fwds, Reaves koes Maroon, Domi lays out Marchy and scores series winner, Bertuzzi 7 pts in rd 1.
All this depends on Marner, if he tosses the puck over the glass again, if he doesnt, we win.
And there will be a random Hab fan in the stands somewhere this series.
