Mailloux looking good!
"Il a du "Insert name" dans le Nez" is an expression basically saying you act alike like someone
Ignore the nose lol. Its just an expression to say that he reminds the playstyle of Weber
Usually the expression is “il a du chien dans le nez”, literally “he has some dog in the nose”, which basically means he has a dog’s fighting spirit, he has character. But in that case it was replaced by “Weber” to say there’s shades of Weber in Mailloux’s game.
"In his nose: dans le nez" doesn't translate… It simply means that he is showing some of the same positive characteristics.
Is a metaphor he look à like shea weber in is game
hi lego,
avoir du Shea Weber dans le nez is an expression that means Mailloux got that dog in him
Mailloux looks odd, like a pedo or an alien. 👽
Gio authentic Habs jerseys are super cheap on the ADIDAS store right now!
Didn’t this kid send nudes of a girl he was with to all his boys and got caught? Lol
Hear thee hear thee, the dragon slayer has something to say…
Use chat gpt to translate, does a way better job
Mailloux -> Weber
Hutson -> Makar
Reinbacher -> Doughty
Great building block for the Habs back end.
Mailloux produced better AHL numbers at 20 than Webber. Very similar to PK Subban. The reason the Habs were willing to take the heat drafting him in 2021, was that they knew Webber was done after the Stanley Cup final run. Mailloux was the closest thing to young Shea Webber in that draft. The size, the shot, the skating, and the attitude. I thought he was a better prospect than Hutson, and I still do.
Basically, saying he sees Weber in Mailloux.
The Canucks are my 4th favourite team and I will always love and cherish the memory of Alex Burrows as a player. He was SO clutch so many times. I LOVE players who elevate their game in the playoffs.
As an Assistant Coach with the Habs he never really impressed me but if St-Louis trusts him and values him then so do I. MSL can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned.
What Burrows means by nose is flair. He thinks Mailloux has a bit of Shea Weber's flair for subtle robustness. Shea "Man Mountain" Weber was renowned for grinding opponents down over time.
Burrows thinks he is seeing a hint of that in Mailloux.
Hope it’s not, “he smells like Weber”….lol
