He’s so good he makes the Isles guy Brendan Burke look like Sean McDonough. Although I’ve grown to like Mike, John’s calls will live on forever. Hear him call game 1 at PNC at 5:00, Saturday, only on TNT!

As a Canes fan now living in Seattle (and following the Kraken as my western team), Forslund makes the Kraken infinitely more watchable. This is great news for our playoff viewing.
It’s actually going to be on TBS not TNT.
But yeah, love me some Forslund and the great Chuck and the letter K.
Forslund was more than the broadcaster he was the team’s ambassador to the community through so many outreach events.
I vote he brings back “Hey, Hey, whaddya say” for our games. Maybe a little “ Andersen says no!”

I bet there are enough caniacs that would contribute to a GoFundMe to cover that man’s entire salary just to have him back in Carolina. As much good as Dundon has done for the Canes, losing Forslund was devastating.
