Great news. And hopefully people support this as loudly as they complain about the HNIC panel covering the Leafs.
Awesome. Here’s hoping they are released as podcasts on Spotify as well.
All we need is to win round 1. Leafs first round exit. Bing. Bang. Boom.
Love how the Vancouver based Media adapted and formed after Bell’s gutting of Team 1040.
All Local. Focused on Vancouver.
Donnie and Dhali CHEKTV
Halford and Brough at SN650
Sekeres & Price Podcast
Canucks Army with Harman Dayal
Drance with the full time role at SN650
Jeff Paterson and Farhan Lalji at Rinkwide.
Good on all of them and their Support Staff that make the shows happen every week.
Should be an awesome Playoffs for coverage.
Go Canucks Go!
Radio, YouTube, where?
Leaf fans are long gone to sleep by the time the Canucks game ends. I think that they use the Leafs name here to get Canucks fans riled up because it works every single time.
I tuned into watch Hockey Central a couple years ago after Petey put up 5 points and Boeser scored a hat trick during same game. Here I am thinking they may open the show talking about the game. Nope. They spent about a minute talking about it about halfway through the show and opened the show talking about the leafs who didn’t even play the day before. Comical. If that was any of the leafs who scored a hatty while another put up 5 it would have been 60 minutes straight of praising. Stopped watching the show after that.
I couldn’t care less about post-game coverage. I just watched the game with my own two eyes and I want to go to sleep.
But I do miss Donny doing pre-game coverage. Those shows were much more insightful, story lines for the game, things to watch, injury reports, interviews with a member of the opposing teams media for additional insight on the other team + they would do the horn for goals from other series.
Cool, but we always play later than the Leafs or do we know who we are playing in the playoffs now?
Thank god for independent broadcasting.
Just remember, the more the leafs are covered and gushed over in the media, the more satisfying it is to watch them exit in the first round.
Fuck Toronto.
